Not Tinkerbell's Wand
Although it's not quite a Hitachi, the Fairy MiniMini is an excellent, very versatile and portable toy that's a powerhouse for its size. Using it alone, or with a partner, or even in combination with other toys is easy due to it being nearly pocket sized.Published: April 1, 2010
Pros:
Strong, portable, easy to use during sex or with other.
Cons:
Loud, needs AC adapter, ridge behind head can be hard to clean.
The Fairy MiniMini- praised almost universally as a portable, fully adjustable Hitachi wand, when I saw the wand itself I couldn't believe it. I thought that all these people must be wrong- how can something so tiny even hope to come close to the Hitachi?
Well, I popped 6, yes 6, AA batteries into the battery pack and set out to find the truth. I was.. a little disappointed, but there is an AC adapter that is made for it, that boosts the power a bit, supposedly. I only have the battery pack, and even with it maxed out, it comes to a level of vibration that is strong, surprising, intense... but not quite Hitachi level. Not really even Vibratex Mystic Wand level. Once again, this is just with the battery pack, so with the AC adapter it may transform into a beast or something- I can't say.
In use it's pretty good, very easy to use. Vibrations are adjusted via a dial, and you can go from a barely vibrating at all level to really high pitched and intense vibrations. One of the levels of vibrations actually makes the whole toy shake, which is pretty cool. For it's size, it is still very strong, and surprising. It'd be excellent to use during sex, however if you grind or straddle it and cover the toy up, it can get hot- it happens pretty quickly, so make sure you pay attention to this during use, and don't cover or smother the toy.
The packaging is cute, it's entirely in Japanese except the title, and has pictures of the product as well as the Fairy Wand mascot- a pink fairy silhouette. Inside, there is a foam block that has depressions in it, these are what holds the toy and the battery pack. There weren't really any instructions, but setting the toy up is pretty easy to figure out. Put the batteries into the Battery pack, then plug the attached cord into the bottom of the Fairy MiniMini. After that, just turn it on using the dial and have some fun!
The toy is not waterproof, nor can it be shared reliably, but you can clean it well between uses by using toy cleaner, toy wipes, or possibly alcohol wipes. I don't recommend submerging this, or using a lot of soap and water because you risk damaging the toy- and always make sure the toy is unplugged from any power source before you clean it. There is this ridge behind the head that can be hard to get to as well... I recommend bunching up a toy wipe, or a paper towel saturated with toy cleaner, and sticking it behind the ridge and running it around the head to prevent accumulation of gunk. You could use a condom or toy cover to cover the head, but I think it wouldn't stay easily on the MiniMini because it's so... mini.
So, it wasn't earth shaking, or life changing, for me but the toy was still very nice. It's small enough to be used in combination with other toys or during intercourse, though it is loud and can get warm during use, it's pretty easy to clean and take care of, and it's compatible with most lubes- water and silicone, since there are PVC components to the toy. It's small and portable, so you can store it pretty much anywhere, or even take it along with you if you wanted to!
All in all, I do recommend the Fairy MiniMini Wand, and I do think the battery pack will be enough power for most people, but if you're looking for a miniature Hitachi, look into getting the AC adapter for it, or find yourself a general 10mm ac adapter that you feel alright using with it.

I've never had a vibrator like this one and I just think it's so pretty. lol. It's definitely one of the top toys on my wishlist, what about you? What do you like the most about it? I like everything! I hope someday I'll be able to get one.

I like everything! I hope someday I'll be able to get one.I have two other fairys - the rechargeable Fairy and the Pocket Fairy Mini. I just ordered this one b/c my Pocket Fairy Mini died recently (partially due to my own negligance) and the Rechargeable Fairy doesn't seem far behind it. However, they've been my fave clit toys of all time - better than both the Hitachi and the Wanachi Maxi, which are similar wand massagers. This seems like it'll be the perfect size - the Rechargeable is a bit large, diameter-wise, while the Pocket Fairy Mini is a bit small. I also like that it has the option of batteries or the a/c adapter. I've never had anything but rechargeable fairys and I'm uber-excited to be getting the a/c adapter option, since it's by and far the strongest method of powering a vibrator and these are already mega-powerful with the recharging style. I would definitely recommend these to anyone and everyone. Let ya know what I think of the Miniature after it arrives and I have a chance to properly test it. (bliss)

Thank you for viewing Fairy miniature – massager review page!

Very nice review! Thanks for sharing
This is one of the Fairy Wand Massagers I have been interested in since I first heard of them. Although I love my regular Hitachi, it is always nice to have something new and in this case, portable and not so large. Thanks for the review.
I have the Fairy Mini and I have to say I found it to be more powerful than the Hitachi, much to my surprise! I think the fact that the mini is powered by a cord makes a lot of difference when it comes to power. Great review
Very nice review!
PinkPoppet- It would be stronger than/as strong as the hitachi, according to others, with the cord. But I was not provided an AC adapter so I could not test that out. I wish it could have been a more useful review in that sense but it was out of my hands.
Muffy- I heard this one was supposed to be that way as well, its unfortunate that no ac plugs were allocated for review purposes.
Mmm - 6AAs? I must get this
Great review!
What a well-written review. Great job, Darling Dove. And this toy is so cute, but I like the others in this line because they're rechargeable.
Fab review! (LOVE the title also..super cute!)
Thanks for the review good to know that it doesn't come with the AC cord since reviews out side of Eden's mentioned the Ac cord. I wonder why it doesn't come with it included, if it makes a difference can't image why they leave it out. O well anyway... great review.
Thanks for all the comments everyone
Sir- The rechargeable one is something I'm looking at, too. It sounds really awesome, like a stronger Acuvibe.
Namelesschaos- They may ship it with the toy when its purchased, but as far as I know it hasn't been decided yet. We'll have to wait and see I guess
I'm sad to read that it's not Hitachi level or earth shattering. I may still consider it though. It's absolutely adorable! Great review!
I so want this one. It's sad it's not Hitachi-level though. Much cuter too.
Very nice review
Thanks for the review!
i really want this... thanks for the awesome review!

Great review! It's pretty surprising that this uses 6 AAs and isn't as strong as the Mystic Wand. That's a lot of batteries!
Thanks, good to know this toy is loud.
