Not what I expected

If it's your first toy, this is a good choice. You get an about average strength toy for not a particularly high price. Not a bad toy at all.

Use

This is basically a bullet vibe with a long cord and remote control. The box says it's not waterproof, so any external stimulation you can think of is fair game for this little thing. (Clitoris, nipples, head of the penis etc.) You could try to use this toy for a little surprising fun, but I wouldn't recommend it. So I would call it a strictly bedroom use toy.

That being said, it could be used to stimulate during sex, but your fingers might go numb trying to keep it in place. Being that it is a bullet vibe and not overly powerful, I find it to be beginner friendly. If you are already used to higher vibrations, not sure that this toy would do much for you.

Material / Texture

You can see the seam in the actual vibrating part of the toy. It's shiny and metallic with a rubber coated cord and a pink plastic control. The packaging says it's made of plastic. Definitely good for safety, since plastic is an 8 on edenfantasys safety scale. No odor or taste that I noticed, but I'm not very sensitive to those things. Neither part is flexible or porous. The cord is flexible and long enough to reach anywhere you need it to. Being non porous also means its not going to be hard to keep clean. The seam didn't add or detract to the feeling of the toy, though it does help your grip a little (not sure if that is the intended use or just a happy accident).

Design / Shape / Size

vibe measurement

control measurement

The design is pretty basic, nothing new or out of this world. So if your shopping for novelty, look elsewhere. But if you want a remote bullet vibe, this one is pretty good. The shape of the control is actually helpful, 'ergonomically shaped' to fit your hand. It works exactly how it is intended to, but it can leave your fingers a little numb after a while. Not exactly easy to hide, mostly because of the remote. I wouldn't travel with it just because the cord can get tangled pretty easily.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are through out the vibrator. There are two speeds, low and high. Not particularly varied, but still different and useful. The remote may be a little inconvenient for solo play, but it is easy to use. The problem is having to cycle through the settings. (one click, on and low setting. next click, high setting. next click, off.) The two settings aren't exaggeratedly powerful or loud, but this isn't a dud either. A thick blanket won't muffle the sound, but a door with some music or tv playing will.

It takes 2 AA batteries, which are not included. It doesn't seem to be a battery guzzler so far, though I still suggest storing it with the batteries taken out. They are easy to put in and there is and etching on the plastic that lets you know in what direction the batteries should be facing. The battery cap is also attached to the control, so you won't lose it unless you break it. The vibrations are buzzy and won't be enough most likely for more advanced users or just people who like extremely strong vibrations.

Care and Maintenance

Don't immerse in water! This is not waterproof and doesn't need that anyway. You just need to use a little soap and water or toy wipes on the vibrator part of the toy. Just be careful with the wire attachment. I would also suggest keeping the small plastic thing they have on the wire when you get it to store the toy. That or use a rubber band, just to keep the wire from getting tangled.

It's plastic, so it's compatible with silicone and water based lube. The seam didn't collect anything for me, but that might be because that's where I tend to hold it. It could, but it shouldn't be horribly hard to clean. Just a fingernail with a wipe should do just fine. It's plastic, so it's not a lint collector.

Packaging

It's packaged in a not-discreet cheap plastic box.

See what I mean about not-discreet? Especially since it says vibrator in six languages on the back. It's also too bulky for storage and you will never get the cord wrapped up in the same way to put it back in the box. I tried, believe me. There is a very small insert that shows a picture diagram of how to insert the batteries. Mind you, not exactly necessary if you have any kind of common sense. If you want to give this as a gift, I'd suggest finding something else to put it in.

Experience

My boyfriend and I tested this one day, and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much from this toy, but it did well. I had an orgasm with direct clit contact within a few minutes. (I'm more sensitive than most, so take that with a grain of salt.) I think we'll use this more for foreplay or when he wants to tease me. Maybe also for clit stimulation during sex, though it could get very cumbersome and frustrating with all of the wire and control possibly getting in the way. Probably won't get used fantastically often, but still not a bad toy to have around.
Follow-up commentary
It doesn't come out of the toy box very often, but it is still a fun toy. It came out a few weeks ago for playtime and I'm glad I have it.
