Clitoral vibrator discontinued

Not Worth the Money

The PicoBong Kiki is one of the most disappointing toys I have ever reviewed. The form of the toy is great, but it is lacking in function. At the end of the day, aesthetics will only get you so far and the Kiki definitely doesn't have what it takes to push me over the edge.

Use

The Kiki is a clitoral vibe, and it is a great size for clitoral stimulation. I also found this toys size and shape to be perfect for stimulating the area just inside the base of my vagina. The size and shape of the Kiki also makes it ideal for nipple stimulation. This toy would also be good for perineum stimulation, but it is not an anal toy.

Material / Texture

I love the way the Kiki feels! If you have ever used a velvet cote toy, it is kind of like that but with less drag. The toy itself is silicone and is very firm, but it is coated with a layer of a material that is soft and very pleasant. There was no discernible odor or taste.
The Kiki is non-porous and is very easy to clean. It doesn't pick up lint, dog hair, or any of the other things that tend to muck up my toys when I leave them lying around.

    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

The Kiki has a great shape. I would compare it to a toothbrush or a crochet hook, in that it consists of a shaft and then an angled head. The head of the toy is the surface that provides the stimulation, and the handle is very comfortable to hold. The Kiki is about 3 3/4" long, and is about an inch in diameter.

While it wouldn't take much effort to figure out what it is, the Kiki doesn't jump out and announce that it is a sex toy. I have the black one and it is actually pretty attractive with a nice matte finish. All in all, this is one of the most appealing toys that I have, appearance wise. The Kiki is lightweight and is very easy to toss into a purse or travel bag. It does not turn itself on very easily, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere with me.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Unfortunately, my positive comments about the Kiki end here. While the thing has a great texture, a versatile design, and an attractive appearance, I cannot find any more positives. The Kiki is a very weak toy and did not provide enough stimulation to satisfy me. The Kiki supposedly has 12 different settings, but I didn't really notice much of a difference. And, to tell the truth, if I wasn't trying to write a review I probably would have gotten bored and given up after about the 6th push of the plus sign.

The Kiki is supposedly waterproof, but I have other toys I would much rather take into the shower with me so I didn't try it.

The toy runs on a AAA battery and the controls are pretty easy to work. There is a plus sign that turns the toy on/ramps up the vibration patterns and there is a minus sign that tones things down and then turns it off.

The best function of the Kiki is that it is very quiet, but I guess that is because the motor doesn't really do very much.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is very easy to clean. It is silicone and waterproof, so you can't really go wrong in trying to clean it. You can sterilize the Kiki with a 10% bleach solution, but do not boil it because of the mechanical parts of the toy. Wash it in soap and water, or use a toy cleaner.

If you use lube with your clit vibes, make sure you use a water-based product since this toy is made of silicone.

Personal comments

When I was given the opportunity to review this toy, I had hoped that it would be a good replacement for my beloved Natural Contours Jolie. (Poor Jolie recently died after a solid six years of use.) The shape of the Jolie is almost identical to the shape of the Kiki, but the strength and quality of vibration in the Jolie is in a completely different league. At half the price, I would buy the Jolie over the Kiki any day.
Follow-up commentary
The Kiki is still disappointing. I've only tried to use it once since my previous review, and it didn't get any better. While there's nothing wrong with the Kiki per se, it is a lackluster toy that will never make it into my top rotation.

I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy another Jolie to fill this niche, as I haven't found anything else that compares.

Thanks for the review. I too need stronger vibrations, but do you think this would be good for a beginner or more sensitive people? Like if you are gift giving to a friend who falls into that category?
