The Mona 2, an update to the first Mona, by LELO, is a luxury vibrator intended for internal g-spot stimulation. The toy has a dual use since it can also double as a clitoral/external vibrator. This toy can be very powerful and it is also rechargeable, which makes keeping it ready to go quite easy!

In addition to its intended use, you could also use this for incorporating sensory play on either partner, using the vibrations on your nipples or other erogenous areas. Teasing your male partner with it is also an option. However, I would not recommend this toy for anal play since it lacks a flared base.

This toy is waterproof so you and/or your partner can also use it while in the shower or bath. For solo or couple play, you will not be disappointed.

Mona 2 is 100% safe for use with your body, since it is made out of Silicone and gets a 10 out of 10 on Eden's safety scale.

My first impressions after taking this out of the box was how smooth the toy is. It is also very firm and has no give to it whatsoever. There is no extra stimulation due to the texture. You can run your hand up and down this toy and there is no dragging, at least in my opinion.

The Mona 2 does have a seam, but you do not notice it during use and barely notice it while running your hand over the toy. I did not notice a smell with this toy and even after a few uses and washes, the toy is still scentless.

This toy is certainly for anyone who desires to use it. The controls are very easy to use and quickly understand. A beginner would enjoy that you can start off at low vibrations, while someone more advanced would enjoy the toy just as much.

I really enjoy the design of the Mona 2. The toy has a rounded top that is meant to give girth to the toy - for either thrusting while using it or being able to stroke the g-spot and enjoy a feeling of fullness. Then the toy tapers down and slims out in the middle, flaring out again to form the base where the buttons are to control the toy.

I found that it fit really well into my hands and while it does have a slight weight to it (roughly a pound), it feels great during use. The toy is roughly 7.5 inches long, with the top of the toy at the largest point being 4.5 inches around and the base being 4.75 inches. The smallest point of the toy where it gets smaller before going wide again at the base, is 3 inches around. Here are some pictures of the toy.

The size of this toy is perfect for any user - beginner or advanced. However, I found the size a bit too big for me to hit my g-spot, so I mostly use this toy as a clitoral vibrator and an internal "tease" once in a while. Your experience will obviously vary.

This toy is a bit too big to be "discreet" when it comes to travel, but it does come with a storage pouch you can put it in for such occasions. While it is not small enough to really be considered discreet, there are definitely options to make it less noticeable. There are even options to "lock" the Mona 2 when you are traveling to keep it from turning on accidentally.

I believe that one of the best functions of the Mona 2, for me, is the fact that it's rechargeable! It's my first one of that kind and I absolutely love it for that alone, everything else just makes it even more amazing!

You charge the toy by plugging the adapter in the hole at the bottom of the toy, which is hidden by a little flap. Charging this toy can take up to 2 hours but I've never had it take that long - an hour and a half tops. While it is charging, the lights will blink on and off; the lights just stay on to indicate that charging is finished. The piece closes snugly when you're done to prevent anything, like water, from getting inside.



The toy can hold up to a charge of 4 hours - however, on the highest vibration setting with consistent buzzing, I have found it only lasts for 2 hours maximum. I prefer this because I need high vibrations so anyone who would use it in this fashion should be aware they may be charging it every 2 hours instead of 4.

Now to how it works!

To turn it on, I just press the + button and it comes on instantly on the lowest vibration. To turn it off, simply hold down the minus button. This may be short or long depending on how high you have the vibration set. There are 6 levels of vibrations (one level each time you push the + button) and 8 patterns (one for every up/down key you press). The vibrations go from very low to very high. The patterns vary.

They are in the following order: steady vibration; heartbeat pulsing; very quick pulsing; going low to high over and over; low to high with a pause; and the last two are very hard to describe - I'd say it's a mix of all of the patterns here for sure, which makes for an interesting time with the toy on the highest vibration settings!

I have no complaints at all with any of the functions and think this toy works wonderfully. It's very easy to use and understand. The controls are convenient as well.

I think this toy is relatively noisy but not to an extreme. I have super sensitive hearing so the toy seems VERY loud to me even from under blankets when on the highest vibration setting. However, nobody else has noticed, so I think I'm safe!

My Mona 2 did get wet and yes, it is 100% waterproof. I purposely tested it just to make sure!

This toy is very easy to care for. It is 100% silicone so you want to use water based lube only with it.

You don't want to leave this toy out and about though, as it is very attractive to hair and other things that love to annoy us by sticking to our stuff when it's unprotected! LELO gives you a lovely storage pouch along with your toy so you can keep it in there to protect it from evil dust bunnies; although I think you'll be using this toy enough that you won't have that problem. You can also use the box as storage if you kept it, which is what I did and still do.

You can clean this toy with soap and water, with obvious care to avoid the charging port. I use toy cleaning wipes because it literally takes less than a minute to wipe this toy clean.

The packaging for the Mona 2 is not discreet.

It comes in a pink box (at least for mine it did, as the toy is pink) with a large picture on the back of the box showing the toy.

Inside is a black box which holds the toy. It has a little compartment storing your instructions, information on the warranty, safety instructions, registration card, charger, storage pouch, and lube. See the pictures below!

My experience with this toy has been wonderful. Even though I can't use it as a g-spot toy right now and don't know if I will ever, the vibrations and patterns are equally as wonderful for clitoral stimulation, so I am very happy with it. I'd recommend it 100% to anyone who asked about it!
