OhMiBod - vibrator by OhMiBod - review by Delilah Douglas

I, like many others, own an iPod in order listen to a vast accumulation of music via MP3 files. I am a HUGE music nerd; I have over 40 gigabytes of music in my iTunes and that represents about a quarter of my total music collection. So you can imagine how excited I was when I heard about the OhMiBod. This vibrator connects to your iPod (or any other handheld music device) in order to turn the frequency and modulation of your music into incredible vibration patterns. It also converts into a regular vibrator when you are feeling less musical. Think of your favorite song... got it? OK, now imagine listening to that song while having your vibrator quaking in time with it. This is precisely what the OhMiBod provides; you are no longer getting down to the music, you are getting off to it!

When I first tried this sex toy, I put the AA batteries in the vibrator, connected the vibrator cord and my head phones into the Y-splitter that came in the package, and then plugged the Y-splitter into the head phones jack of my iPod. I turned up the music full blast like I normally do, but it was too much for the OhMiBod. It was just like a regular powerful vibrator; I couldn’t feel the vibration change with the music. But when I turned the music down half way, then I could feel the melodic vibration of the toy. At first it felt too subtle, so I turned it back up again and brought myself to climax quickly. But to my surprise, after I had that first orgasm I could feel everything the OhMiBod had to offer. The vibe was incredible; I could feel every little shift in the singer’s voice. After I have my first orgasm, I am always way more open and receptive to other stimulation. This is because the state of arousal brings all the blood to the area and makes it more sensitive to touch and vibration.

The vibration is so cool but it uses the treble for its source of vibration and not the bass like most would expect. I also wish the OhMiBod could use the iPod as its power source, but it’s not that big of a deal to provide 2 AA batteries. I made it my goal to start listening to my entire music collection through the magic of the OhMiBod and it’s been the hottest, most arousing experience. “One Time for Me” by the Reverend Horton Heat and “She Bop” by Cyndi Lauper both feel incredible (how appropriate). Because I am of the belief that you should listen to music with your whole body, my listening experience is so much more intense and completely mind-blowing. I recommend this adult toy to anyone that truly loves music and wants to feel even more excited by your favorite songs.
