OhMiBod - vibrator by OhMiBod - review by woofcub

This is one of the most interesting vibrators that I have ever used. I had thoughts of such a device that would plug into an mp3 player but was not aware that one existed until a friend informed me about having one. After seeing it, I wanted one for myself. The OhMiBod above is a standard shape vibe, however there are other styles/ shapes available. This vibe can be used for either vaginal or anal play and even as a small neck massager while listening to your favorite music at the same time on your ipod, mp3 or even laptop.

This is mainly meant to be used alone; this vibe brings your music experience to a new level where you can not only hear but also feel your music as it beats inside of you. Use this when you want to enjoy your music on a more personal level. The OhMiBod is great with songs that have a lot of power and base; dub step is a good place to start. I would recommend this vibe to anyone that has never tried a similar vibe, including users that are just starting their toy collection, as the OhMiBod can be used with or without an mp3 player with the cap which turns it into a wireless standard vibe.

The OhMiBod has a smooth but slightly hard plastic shell like most vibrators of its type and shape. Due to its material it is easy to clean and, if cleaned properly, doesn't retain any smell. What it lacks in texture or shape the OhMiBod makes up for in the function department with multiple caps for use with or without a sound source. One of the advantages of the build and material is that it is easy to move and direct to the most sensitive of spots unlike softer materials so you can get all the power just where you want it to be.

The OhMiBod has a texture that is perfect for beginners but still allows for fun for more advanced users; with the option to use a different song every time the OhMiBod is a new experience every time it is used.

Although the design of the OhMiBod that I used was the standard vibrator model I was still very pleased with the design and construction of the vibe. It was above the quality of material and shape of similar cheaper models. The great thing about the OhMiBod brand is that other shapes and textures are available to use if a standard design is not what you are looking for in your vibrator. For its standard vibe shape the OhMiBod was very easy to use and worked well for me with the exception that it did seem to slip out a bit too easy when the vibrations were on the higher end pulsing with the beat of my music. For myself the size was perfect and should be good for beginners or more advanced users. For users that live with others, or just want to be more discrete in the bedroom, the OhMiBod hides away well in its bag — although the color could be a bit different, possibly a less vibrant color in order to match better with that of the contents of a dresser.

For use and travel I would have to give this vibe a good rating as it can be used discreetly and is small enough that it can be carried along when traveling without raising too much suspicion, with the exception of the color of the bag.

The OhMiBod is a toy like no other as far as function. It can be used with your mp3 player, like your ipod or other devices, or can be used as a standalone unit with the additional end cap which turns it into a standard variable speed vibe making this a good toy for beginners as it is two toys in one and when used with music can provide a new experience each and every time.

Once the batteries are inserted the vibe will perform well if using rechargeable batteries but will perform best if using a good non-rechargeable battery set as well as lasting longer. Make sure to keep a few sets of extra batteries around though as the OhMiBod does seem to go though them quickly and the performance is not as powerful when using low strength or rechargeable batteries which is common in a lot of vibes.

The vibrations seem to resonate throughout the vibe and are especially strong at the tip of the toy, which makes it nice for spot stimulation. The music function is what sets this vibe apart from others and makes it well worth the price. As far as the controls go, when used with music they are easy. The secondary cap, however, like most others is a bit difficult to adjust at times but is compact and does not get in the way of the experience. As far as noise, the OhMiBod can be quiet on the lower settings and with music, but can become a little noisy when used on the higher end settings.

The OhMiBod is a very easy toy to take care of. Since the vibe is smooth and non-porous it can be easily cleaned and stored in the soft carry bag. The vibe can be cleaned with a damp cloth but I would not recommend submerging it in any liquid. As far as battery care, the OhMiBod makes it easy to replace or remove the batteries when not in use, although with the fun it provides and the large selection of music people now have on their mp3 players I doubt that it will be stored away for long. Because the vibe is not entirely waterproof I would not recommend cleaning this vibe in the dishwasher or submerging it, but instead cleaning with a damp cloth with a disinfectant or a toy cleaner spray
