The Vibratex Mystic Wand has an easy to hold plastic handle lightly coated in a velvety smooth exterior. While the handle is plastic, it is soft to the touch. The head of the toy, which is the only part of the toy that gives out vibrations, is a lush silicone material with ribbing along the side for added stimulation-as if you'll need it! ;) I found no odd chemicals being secreted from my toy when I took it out of the box, which was a great plus. The Vibratex Mystic wand is inviting for beginners and advanced users alike.

The Vibratex Mystic Wand is- say it with me- CORDLESS! I adore the convenience of an orgasm just as intense as the Hitachi- minus the cord. It is extremely light, non bulky and extremely easy to manipulate. I have not used this wand during intercourse, but I could imagine it would be a piece of cake to put between two bodies, depending on position. The rounded silicone head carries the vibrations through the material surprisingly well. In addition, the head is able to bend a bit in all directions. This wand is relatively easy to hide, and appropriate to throw in a carry-on when traveling (be sure to take out the batteries).

Let me start off with stating that I am extremely hard to get off. It is not surprising that many, if not all toys before this one left me wanting more, even on the highest setting. The wand has six settings: low, medium, high; and 3 function settings: pulsating low, medium-medium-HIGH, and an escalating "wave" (my favorite!) When the toy is on low, a blue light comes on; when it is on medium, a yellow; and on high, a red light. I do not feel as if the lowest setting could be heard through a closed window. The second setting could be muffled out by loud music. The third setting may be heard if someone was carefully listening outside the door. Even on it's highest setting, it is not an annoying nor distracting sound at all.

The splash proof wand should be washed with soap and water, as the silicone is porous. Waterbased lubes only should be used with the Mystic Wand. Do NOT use silicone, unless you want to mourn the death of your beloved!

The packaging of the Mystic Wand was neither impressive nor disappointing. It comes in a clear box, which I threw away because the plastic is flimsy and not worth saving to store my toy in. My wand also came with a nice "home" (a black velvety bag) which I am not using either, as I have picked up a few tips that the porous white silicone is left stained by the black velvet fibers.
