OOooo Lola

Overall, Lola is an average vibrator. She would serve best as a starter vibrator, or a teasing toy. She has fabulous lines that run down her shaft, and cause great delight when turned while inserted. The motor doesn't give off any extra heat from an hour of continuous play. The multi-speed knob is easy to use, and can be customized to personal desires. It's also waterproof, durable plastic, different colors to choose from and has multiple uses.

Use

Lola can be multifunctional. She can be used vaginally, clitoral and anally. I found the vibrations to not be strong enough for me and it took a while for a decent, built up orgasm. Lola can be used solo, or with a partner, she's light weight and durable to enjoy hours of fun. The ridges almost beg you to use it in a twisting motion while inserted, they're raised enough that it feels like a spiraling penis.

Material / Texture

Lola is made of latex free, hard plastic. It has no give or flex to the shaft, it doesn't have that nasty plastic toy smell, and is tasteless. There are ridges and valleys that run vertical along the vibrator towards each ends and if you twist it while inserted is sure to drive every girl over the edge. This is a beginner's toy, it's simple, easy to use and light weight.

Design / Shape / Size

I've never seen a toy quite like Lola, she has unique lines that run inverted and extroverted down the shaft. The tip is a regular vibrator tip that extends to a small bulb on both ends with a tapered waist. The mechanical components are held in the tip of the vibrator with the battery compartment behind it. She has a multi-speed knob that allows you to determine the exact strength of the vibrations.

I usually struggle with clitoral vibrations being the wrong tone, and not strong enough to cause an orgasm. I found Lola is average on clitoral stimulation, and served better inserted. I personally enjoy jaw dropping, leg quivering orgasms and Lola just didn't do it. The unique lines caught my attention, and I gave it a quick swirl one night to find a most pleasant surprise from the lines.

I recommend this toy solely on those lines, if you enjoy ribbed condoms and other toys of similar sort, then you'll enjoy Lola. If you are searching for a toy that can be used for teasing a partner, Lola will accomplish that. She just isn't strong enough to send me over the edge without a little help from a fellow toy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Lola would best serve as a starter vibrator, it has the durability to be used solo, partnered, grouped whatever your style. Lola can hold up. A common problem I come across with vibrators are motors that burn up easily from strain under vaginal pressure. Since Lola is made of hard plastic she doesn't flex or give extra tension onto the motor, there was no heat radiating off after a 20 minute use. I decided to see if I could cause the motor to heat up at all and left the toy on for a full 60 minutes with no heat radiating off.

The vibrations are not strong enough for my personal enjoyment, however I prefer a more aggressive nature in my sexual atmosphere. To turn up the strength there is a dial based knob (like turning a doorknob) that allows you to set the speed to your own desires. It is waterproof, and for once the battery compartment stays closed quite well in the toy. It uses the pill bottle method, with a slight force downward, and turn to the left it springs right open. Lola also had the traditional piece of paper to wrap around the batteries to cut down noise, without the paper they rattle quite a bit so I left it in during most of my sessions with no real bother from the noise.

Care and Maintenance

Lola is made out of hard non porous, phthalates free hard durable plastic. She doesn't give any flex, and can easily be cleaned with warm water and soap or your favorite toy cleaner. Lola requires 2AA batteries, has an easy grip and is waterproof. I store all my toys within a toy chest but this can easily sit in a nightstand or dresser drawer. It isn't compact and cannot be worn comfortably underneath clothing. The dial base knob causes a steady but personal increase in the vibration strength. My Lola came in blue, but also can be order in green and pink.

Packaging

When I ripped open my FedEx box, I saw the typical packaging clear plastic box; that had blue lettering, and the toy nestled nicely on a plastic tray that was easy to pull out. I would recommend finding a better area to store Lola than the box she comes in, as it's a pain in the rear to put that plastic tray back in the box. The user instructions told me how to put the batteries in, turn it on, open it, and turn it off, everything a girl needs to know to have a successful B.O.B (battery operated boyfriend) date.
Follow-up commentary
I still love my Lola, she stays in my night stand and waits for me to come home. I particularly love a swirling action with her, she gives off some intense feelings from the lines and valleys.

Lol, it looks like a summer kitchen applianceLooks like the dial would be hard to turn with lubes on your fingers, is it the case?
  • Contributor: littlelady13
Yes, the knob definitely puts up a fight with lubricant covered fingers.

I had trouble with the knob even without lube on my fingers. In fact, I couldn't get the lines to line up properly once I took the cap off. Did you have this problem?
