The E-Sensual Bullet from California Exotics is an innovative bullet that is powered via the USB port on your computer or any other device that has a USB port. The cord isn’t very long, so if you don’t like the idea of being attached to a computer, then you might just want to stick to more portable battery operated bullets. Bullets are one of my favorite types of toys, and I was going through batteries too quickly for my liking, so I chose this bullet to be my desk side companion. It is best used for external stimulation because it is not waterproof, but if you really want to insert it vaginally, then put a condom over the bullet. This is not safe to use anally.

This is not rechargeable, so you must remain near your power source for the bullet to work. There is no software needed, the computer doesn’t even recognize that anything has been plugged in. I was able to use this even when my desktop computer was turned off (still plugged in), but it didn’t work when my laptop was off even with the power cord attached. You’ll want to use it with your laptop plugged in or else it’ll drain the battery very quickly. Others have been able to use the bullet with a cell phone charger, and dare I say, in the car.

This is all made of plastic except for the piece that plugs into the USB port. The bullet has a PU coating so it has a velvety smooth feel to it, so you might want to use a drop of lube to reduce some of the drag. You can use any lubes with it: oil, silicone, or water based.

It looks just like a regular bullet, so if anyone is familiar with bullets, they will know what this is. Some people only have USB ports on the back of their desktop computers, and if that is the case for you, then you’ll want to get a USB extension cable or USB hub. The cord is only 42 inches which is why I say that. Fortunately, I have 4 USB slots on the front of my computer, and two on the side of my monitor.

The bullet is egg-shaped, but not large enough to be called an egg. It is 2 ¼” in length, and 3 ¼” in circumference. Honestly, if you want a USB powered bullet, this is great for people of all experience levels.

The bullet uses two arrow buttons. The up arrow takes you through the different patterns and the down arrow just turns it off, regardless what setting you are on. This is great if you need to turn it off in a hurry.

The bullet will run for as long as you want it to, but I noticed it gets pretty warm after a while. I’m paranoid about overheating the bullet so I use it for about half an hour at a time. The patterns are really nice:
1. Low vibration;
2. Medium vibration;
3. High vibration;
4. Two short medium pulses followed by a high longer pulse;
5. Medium pulsations;
6. Alternating low and medium pulsation;
7. Long escalation from low to high.

The bullet is strong, but it is loud. You’ll want to use it with no one around. You might be able to get away with this in an office setting unless you have a cubical. The medium vibration is strong enough for me because it is at about 4 vrooms which is usually the highest on most other bullets. The vibrations are rumbly, but if you hold the bullet to apply pressure, it starts to rattle.

Toy wipes would be ideal for this bullet. Unfortunately, the bullet is not sealed off very well where the cord goes in, so don’t submerge it.

I store this in a desk drawer, but keep it anywhere that is convenient for you.

You don’t get much in terms of packaging. It comes in a clear plastic box and the bullet sits in a tray with the cord wrapped up in a twist tie. Not many instructions are needed. It has a picture of the bullet being powered by a laptop, so it’s pretty straight forward.
