The Ophoria Finger Vibe is a small bullet inside a silicone sleeve. While it is designed to be a discreet clitoral vibrator, it can be also used all over the body to tease and stimulate. It’s great for backdoor play too since it is made of silicone and can be sanitized through boiling or bleaching. It feels great teasing externally, and if you keep a finger firmly through the finger loop, this toy can be safely inserted slightly anally or vaginally.

It’s very small and quiet so would be ideal for anyone who needs to be discreet. If you live in a dorm or have nosy roommates, the Ophoria is perfect for you. It’s so small and quiet, in fact, that you could easily turn it on, slip it inside your favorite pair of panties and wear it out on the town! No one would know.

It’s great to introduce into partner play because its size is not intimidating and it is whisper quiet. Partners of either gender will enjoy using this all over their body. It’s perfect to use during oral sex or intercourse since it will not get in the way and the sound will not distract from your sexual encounter.

The sleeve of the Ophoria is made of 100% pure silicone, with a safety rating of 10. It just doesn’t get any safer than silicone, and I am impressed that such an inexpensive toy is made of such a high quality, luxurious material! It isn’t porous, can easily be sanitized and doesn’t fall apart with extended friction. The bullet inside the sleeve is made of plastic.


Ophoria only uses 100% pure medical grade Japanese silicone (though it is made in China), so there is absolutely no smell or taste. It is pleasantly flexible and squishy and velvety smooth to the touch. It has very little drag and no texture except for the brand name “Ophoria” embossed on one side, which is not felt during use.

This toy is perfect for any user, from beginner to advanced, who doesn’t like texture on a toy and doesn’t need a ton of power.

The design for the Ophoria is absolutely inspired! It fits perfectly in your hand and on your finger. The finger loop actually has small nubs on the inside of it to help it stay on your finger and to prevent the toy from turning or twisting on your finger during use. Add to the great, easy to use design that it’s made from silicone and color me impressed!

The entire toy (including the finger loop) is just under 3.5” long. The finger loop is just over 0.5” long and just over 0.5” wide, with the body of the toy measuring in at 2.75” long. At its widest, this toy measures 2.25” in circumference, or 0.7” in diameter. The body of the toy is almost exactly the same length and size as a tube of Chapstick.

The bullet inside the sleeve measures 1.25” long, and there is 1.5” of solid silicone at the tip of the toy. This gives you several options when in use. You can use the tip of the toy for pinpoint stimulation, and since the vibrations will be going through 1.5” of solid silicone, they feel a bit diffused. You can also lay the toy on its side during use, which will put the bullet into more direct contact with your skin, changing the sensation.

You can also take the bullet out and use it on its own without the sleeve, or put a different bullet in the sleeve. The bullet measures 1.25” long and 0.5” in diameter

The discreet size make this toy perfect for traveling (remember to remove the batteries so it won’t turn on en route to your destination) and so easy to hide. Just slip this in your pants pocket and take it with you anywhere you go!

This toy has 1 button that turns it on and off, and only one speed; on. The button is just inside the finger loop, so when using the toy it's within easy reach. I had a little trouble turning the Ophoria on at first, but soon learned that all it requires is a firm press until you hear a faint click. Upon first use, I also had some issues with bumping the power button and accidentally turning the Ophoria off during use. This can be quickly overcome by changing the way you hold the toy to avoid putting pressure on the power button.

Ophoria runs on 2 watch batteries, which come already installed in the toy. In addition, it also comes with 4 extra watch batteries. How great is that? I turned the toy on and left it on to test the battery life. The first set of batteries lost significant power after 30 minutes, but weren’t completely dead until about 45 minutes had passed. So, with 3 sets of batteries you can have a couple of hours of fun!

The vibrations come straight from the bullet, but can be felt throughout the entire length of the toy, including the finger loop. The vibrations felt in the finger loop really aren’t very strong, but they tickled my finger and felt weird. You can significantly diminish the vibrations felt in the finger loop by holding the loop very firmly. Due to the solid silicone towards the tip, the vibrations are felt more strongly when it is laid on its side.

The vibrations do diminish slightly when pressure is applied. Or, more accurately, the vibrations disperse a bit with pressure. The vibrations themselves don’t seem to change or weaken, but I do perceive a dispersal of vibrations, making the sensation less instense.

The bullet used in this toy is not waterproof. There is no o-ring, and it opens and closes with just a half turn. The toy is labeled as “splash proof”, so don’t think about taking it in the shower or the tub.

The Ophoria really is whisper quiet. The company boasts of their Whisper Technology, and it’s all true. I put the Finger Vibe under a blanket, and I couldn’t hear it even when I was only standing a couple of feet away in the same room. If you need a quiet toy, the Ophoria Finger Vibe fits the bill perfectly. You do not even need to be behind a closed door with this toy.

My only complaint about this toy is that it’s not very strong. I rate it at 2 vrooms, comparable to the Je Joue MiMi on level 2. The Ophoria is buzzier than the MiMi, but also much quieter. It is about half the noise level of the MiMi.

Since the toy is made of silicone, it is safe to store it with other 100% silicone toys. That fact and its small size make storing this toy a breeze. You can put it anywhere a tube of Chapstick will fit. It can be kept in a toy pouch, in a plastic baggie, in an old sock, the possibilities are endless.

It’s best to use only water-based lubricants with toys made of silicone, because some silicone lubricants can react with certain toys made of silicone. If you really want to try a silicone lubricant, do a small spot test on the handle first to test for a reaction.

Cleaning the Ophoria is also super simple. The best way I’ve found is to take the bullet out of the sleeve. It is not waterproof, so it can be wiped with an Eden wipe, or a damp rag. Then, the empty silicone sleeve can be cleaned in a variety of ways. You can clean it with toy cleaner or soap and warm water. If you need to sanitize the sleeve it can be soaked in a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 10 parts water), it can go through the dishwasher on the top rack (without dishwashing detergent) or you can boil it for 3 minutes. Make sure the sleeve and the bullet are thoroughly dry before putting them together again for storage or use.

The toy comes in a very basic plastic clamshell package. It has perforations on the back, so it is much easier to open than some other clamshell packaging. The packaging is not good for storage.

Inside is a sheet with some usage instructions, care instructions and battery replacement instructions.

The packaging does obviously display the toy, but is discreet in the sense that there are no naked ladies on it. It simply says “Ophoria 3” finger vibe”. So keep that in mind for gift giving.

The Ophoria Finger Vibe is not quite strong enough for me to use as a clitoral vibe. I generally prefer toys with 4 vrooms, so this toy felt more like a whisper to me. Still, it was good for teasing. Inserting the Ophoria vaginally didn't do a lot for me either, but I could definitely feel the vibrations internally. It's nice for teasing the vaginal opening, but you're certainly not going to get much of a feeling of penetration, nor any g-spot stimulation from it.

My favorite way to use this toy is for backdoor play. I felt it much more strongly back there, and it was great! Connect a sturdy retrieval cord to the finger loop, or just keep a finger securely looped through it at all times, and be sure not to insert more than just the tip for safety reasons. I also love knowing I can take the bullet out and sanitize the sleeve so easily, so it doesn’t have to be limited to just backdoor play.
