When I came across this kit on the site, I couldn't have been more excited! Who doesn't want a kit of foreplay toys to use with a partner as well as possibly by oneself? I ordered the kit just before the holidays and it arrived just in time to give myself an – ahem - white Christmas. I am accustomed to many other toys, kits, and consider myself an aficionado among friends when it comes to toys, usage, and knowledge. But when I opened that box, I was surprised because this baby is huge, bulky, and plainly, a sight sore.

It's not often one comes across a toy they can say two very important things about: #1, it works (well); #2, it reaches beyond aesthetically pleasing and is actually a joy to behold. It has happened before, but unfortunately not with these toys.

The foreplay kit — as far as functionality — does get the job done, but I think the moment of embarrassment, as I pulled it from its discrete hiding place, may not have been worth it for use with my partner. It does operate quietly, which is a pleasant plus, and the power is decent. Not the best, but as I said before, the job was definitely taken care of.

I like the idea of having the different attachments to use for different levels of stimulation, but this toy wasn't quite what I expected. I imagined more ease of use — a more compact, discrete kit, and a more powerful product for an over-the-top O moment.

I have since packed away the toy and not given it much thought. I normally keep my "special friends" in my top drawer for easy access, but this one has found its way into a bag in the back of my closet. The kit simply wasn't something I'd write home about — and there have definitely been some vibrators out there that excited me enough to do so.

Maybe on a rainy day I'll lug it out of the closet and give it another go. For now, I think I'll stick to my old standbys.
