He is made from latex which is a bit firmer then silicone or jelly toys. Latex is also very porous making it harder to keep clean, so no sharing without a condom. He is soft and smooth with a raised head and has a little drag to it to give a little extra stimulation. When I took it out of the package I didn't notice much of a smell. If there was one it was gone after washing.

He came in a clean hard plastic casing with a naked womans back on it. It came with a little instruction booklet on how to care for the toy and the battery placement. Although the booklet says it can be cleaned with alcohol I advise against it.
