The Fairy Mini is the first downsized model of the popular Japanese Fairy Massage Wand product line. It's a powerhouse sex toy. The vibrations are strong, loud and proud. It's great for clitoral stimulation, and the dial allows the user to adjust the vibrations to the intensity they desire. The adjustable intensity of the Fairy Mini also makes it a great massager. It can be used for massaging erogenous zones, or massaging aches and sore muscles. Internal stimulation isn't really possible with the Fairy Mini, but it can be used to stimulate the outer regions of these sensitive areas. There are also attachments available that can be added to the top of the Fairy Mini to make it a toy that can be used internally. The adjustable vibrations and multiple uses of this massager make it suitable for beginners, more advanced users and everyone in between.

The Fairy mini is made out of PVC and plastic. The material is phthalates free, hypo-allergenic and Latex Free. The white cap area at the top of the massager is firm to the touch and has no give. The very top of the cap is smooth with a matte finish, and the sides have five indented rings that surround the base of the cap. These ridges provide extra stimulation if the massager is turned and used on it's side. The neck of the massager that attaches the cap and the handle of the Fairy Mini is slightly flexible. The material of the neck has a little more give than the rest of the massager. This allows the cap of the Fairy mini to be flexed into a 20 degree angle in any direction when pressure is applied to it.

The Fairy Mini has a slightly plastic like smell, and no taste whatsoever. The light pink area on the handle feels like the same material as the cap. The white areas directly above and below the pink area are shinier than the other parts of the massager and feel more like traditional plastic. The area around the dial is shiny white plastic and the dial is firm with ridges that allow the user to distinguish this area during use. The texture of the Fairy Mini is suited for anyone, because it has an area for those users who like smooth toys, and it has the ridged area for those who enjoy extra stimulation.

The Fairy Mini looks a lot like the iconic Hitachi. The top of it has a round dome like cap which the vibrations are transmitted through. Below the cap is a flexible neck which attaches it to the handle. The handle is oval shaped, and the bottom of it is where the cord connects to the massager. The fairy mini is powered by plugging it into the wall, which means it doesn't require any batteries, and it can transmit stronger vibrations than many battery powered toys.

The Fairy Mini has a body length of 10 inches and a diameter of 1 3/4 inches on the cap area. It's almost half of the size of the original Fairy Wand Massager. It weighs in at about a pound. As previously stated this is one powerful massager. At it's highest vibration level it produces around 11000 rpm which is almost double the Hitachi's rpm of 6000. Since the Fairy Mini vibrates at such a fast speed, it's also quite loud. At the lowest speed it can be heard through a closed door and at it's highest speed it might be audible through a closed door with moderately loud music on. It sounds like a power tool, almost exactly like a drill.

The Fairy mini is controlled by a dial located in the middle of the handle. When the dial is turned all the way towards the cap, or top of the massager it turns off. There is an audible click that can be felt when the Fairy Mini is turned on and off. When the dial is turned all the way down the massager is at it's highest intensity. The dial can be turned about 3 full times, with your finger starting at the top of the dial and ending at the bottom of the dial, before it reaches it's highest intensity.

The Vibrations can be felt the strongest on any part of the cap of the Fairy Mini. Some vibration can also be felt in the handle of the Fairy Mini, but not nearly as intensely as the vibrations in the cap. The vibrations are very buzzy, and may be too intense for more sensitive users even at the lowest setting. If the vibrations are too intense, it can always be used through clothing to slightly decrease the intensity.

The Fairy Mini is not waterproof, especially since it has a cord. Be careful using it around water and when cleaning it. If the cord becomes wet at any time make sure you dry it off before plugging it in, or continuing to use it.

The Fairy Mini can be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. It can also be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol if desired. Caution should be used when washing this massager, to make sure that only the cap gets wet. Wetting any other area of the Fairy Mini could potentially cause damage to the massager. The ribbed area of the cap can collect fluids and other potentially unwanted materials, so make sure you wash this area particularly well. The Fairy Mini can be used with water or silicone based lubes. Storage is very easy when placed into the included pink pouch.

The Fairy Mini comes packaged in a pink cardboard box slightly larger than the wand itself, with pictures of the Fairy Mini, and information about the massager written in Japanese. The Fairy Mini also comes with a soft pink storage bag with drawstrings at the top. The storage bag keeps the Fairy Mini and cord together in one compact package.

The Fairy Mini doesn't come with any instructions, and the writing on the box is in Japanese.

The Fairy Mini has easily become my go to toy. I had my doubts when I read that it was more powerful than the Hitachi, and I was pleasantly surprised when I found this statement to be true. I also liked that it has more adjust-ability than the Hitachi. Instead of having two preset vibrational levels, the Fairy Mini has a dial that allows you to control the intensity. The cap of the Fairy Mini is also smaller than the cap of the Hitachi, which I think makes it better suited for clitoral stimulation. Plus, it's a lot prettier than the Hitachi if I do say so myself. I never thought I would say it, but the Hitachi has been beat!
