Platinum jack rabbit - rabbit vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Officer Oddy

The Platinum Jack Rabbit by Cal Exotics is a rabbit vibrator that both rotates and vibrates. The insertable length is 5" with a diameter of 1 5/8". The clitoral bullet is encased in a bunny-shaped stimulator made of the same material as the shaft. The non-jamming beads are indeed metal (as far as I can tell; they can be felt quite well when inserted, and plastic beads usually can't). The shaft rotates inside while the clitoral bullet vibrates with three different levels of steady vibration and then goes into four vibration patterns. This is typical with rabbits, but sometimes the shaft functions vary from toy to toy.

The Platinum Jack Rabbit is by far the best rabbit I've owned. It is powerful, waterproof, and capable of some nearly head-splitting orgasms (I'm not kidding; that's actually what it felt like to me). One of the main drawbacks is that it's LOUD, but I'll talk about that more in the Performance section of the review.

The material of this rabbit is TPE, and it is clear, soft, and supple. It does have a semi-sticky touch to it, but that's to be expected with toys that are soft and made of "squishy" materials. The shaft is smooth and bulbous at the rotating beads. The head is shaped like the head of a penis. Below the tip of the rabbit, there is an embossed smiley face (I can't decide if it's unsettling or cute). There is a "V"-shaped pattern of embossed dots below the smiley face. The dots are biggest on either side of the shaft and are smallest at the point of the "V."

The control back and bullet are made of a shiny gold (though not actual gold) plastic. Below the gold (still not actual gold) beads, the shaft is filled with gold glitter (again, not actual gold). But the goldness of the toy is very appealing, and that's what drew me to it.

The material is quite squishy, and that might be unappealing to some. It also smells a bit like spray paint when it comes out of its packaging. But that doesn't turn me off.

The size of this toy makes me think that this toy would not be suitable for beginners. I was actually quite surprised at how big it was (even after seeing the video review for it; you just can't be sure how big something is without having it in your hands yourself). But the size didn't bother me once I started using it and after I'd warmed up.

I love the design of the toy. As I said above, the goldness of the toy really drew me in. The ears of the bunny are just perfectly aligned with my anatomy, and the shaft feels wonderful.

There are seven functions to the Platinum Jack Rabbit: three speeds of steady vibration and four patterns of vibration. There are also seven levels of rotation. The control pack has an "All Off" button, which switches off all functions quickly so you don't have to press the down arrow on each side of the toy.

This toy takes four AAs, as do many rabbits. It is also waterproof, which makes the toy easy to clean and fun to take in the shower or tub.

The buttons are a little hard to push, and that can be a good thing when the toy is in storage. But I don't like seeing my harsh fingernail imprints on the nice cover to the buttons.

The noise level really bothers me. The bullet, on the first two levels of steady vibration, is moderately quiet, but once on level three, there is a drastic change in the toy's volume. It's not a very discreet toy.

This toy should be washed with soap and water, or you can use a toy cleaner or bleach solution. Let it air dry before you place it back in storage. Since the toy is waterproof, it is very easy to clean! I prefer to store the toy in its original packaging for now (the packaging itself is quite noisy; plastic on plastic makes quite a lot of noise), but I will find something else to put it in (since it WILL attract lint).

Use water-based lubricant only!
