"Platinum" might be a stretch. Fun while it lasts.I expected this to be a new favorite in the toy box, but instead it has mostly sat in the drawer and become my toy of last resort. It's not so bad that I want to throw it out, but there are definitely better options out there.
The first one that arrived was defective. Only the vibrator part worked, the beads and shaft were motionless. I got a replacement and it seemed in good working order, although I have used it less than a dozen times and the rotation has pretty much ceased to work on this one as well, so I am thinking this might be a common theme with this model. Sometimes if I crank it all the way to high, the beads will slowly move again, but once inserted, they die right down to nothing. I like rabbits, but there just was nothing special about this one and it somehow didn't hit all the right places for me. However, the vibrating bullet is fairly strong, translating to decent power, and the low - high and several patterns options are pretty cool (unexpected changes in vibe pattern can be very erotic). When the metal beads do work, they offer nice stimulation.
The material has no noticeable smell and is somewhat pliable jelly material. If you squeeze the (pretty much anatomically-correct) head, it is somewhat yielding, but the shaft itself . . . underneath the beads and smooth outer sheathing . . . is firm. The rabbit ears that sit atop or astride the clit are very flexible, while maintaining their shape, which I like. Even though I tend to like direct intense clitoral stimulating vibes, a lot of time the ears kind of hurt and I have to push them slightly away with my other hand. I didn't have that problem with the Platinum Jack.
It's both a positive and negative that you can cease all power with the touch of a single button. When you are done, it makes it easy to power off. But it's very possible to accidentally shut it, when trying to adjust the speed of the vibration or rotation. Also, the cap is on the very bottom and because of its design, it actually kind of hurts my fingertips when I'm using the toy. It does stay tightly closed, is easy to open for battery changes, and is supposedly waterproof. (I've never submerged mine.)
I guess I have to admit I was really disappointed with the Platinum. There are a lot of variations between women's bodies and what feels good for one, might not be pleasurable at all for another. I've owned many, many toys over the years and for me personally, the Platinum Jack falls short on satisfaction. It's a decently crafted item based on the wildly successful multi-stimulation rabbit model, I am sure that many women really do enjoy it, but it doesn't quite do the trick for me and it clearly is not made to last.
