Pleasure Never Looked So Pretty (video review)

The Lovemoiselle Cecile is perfect for anyone who enjoys a gentle vibrator and sensual abstract design, over the more realistic dildo or the vibrating strength of a powerful massage wand. It's intimidating and looks more like a work of art than a sex toy.
Published:
Pros
Beautiful, good for temperature play, non-porous, friction-free surface.
Cons
Lacks strong vibrations, care must be taken not to crack or chip the delicate material.

extremely useful review
Cecile is a gorgeous cream ceramic vibrator with a violet flower decorating the shaft and a violet battery cap. This is no ordinary sex toy, this is a piece of art! It is, by no means, the most powerful vibrator you will find, but what it lacks in power, it makes up for in elegant lines and smooth undulating curves.

Cecile is 8 inches long, 6 1/4 inches insertable, 1.5 inches in diameter, and weighs half a pound. It is a non-porous, body-safe, sterilizable piece. It can be wiped down with a 10% bleach solution. But, unless you are sharing it, cleaning with anti-bacterial soap and water or a toy cleaner should be fine. It is not however, waterproof, so avoid submerging it or getting water near the battery compartment.

Any lube will do with this piece, although it's naturally slick surface hardly needs anything, lube wise.

Cecile came with a lovely black box wrapped in a silver strap. Inside, the piece is nestled into a foam mold. If you are not careful, you will miss the directions and the black velvet bag hiding underneath the mold. I almost did!

While most toys don't really need directions, I did find reading the small booklet very helpful. I could not figure out how to turn this toy off! Turns out (according to the directions) you must press and hold the button on the end for a full second and it will then turn off.

Cecile is ideal for temperature play, but take care to avoid heat or cold extremes. If the temperature of the piece changes too much or too fast, the ceramic can easily crack.

Speaking of cracks. It's advisable to check this piece carefully for chips or cracks before each use. Small cracks can weaken the ceramic and if missed, the piece could break during use. Just use caution.
Experience
I adore the look, the feel, the packaging, the ceramic... everything about this toy (except the vibration). It's got 6 vibration modes and actually some rather interesting pulsations, but the Cecile just isn't quite strong enough, and the frequency is just a tad too high, to bring me to orgasm. Still, I do enjoy inserting this toy and pairing it with a nice, high powered clit vibe. Its unforgiving material makes the Cecile feel larger than it really is, and its shape is ideal for thrusting. I prefer using this piece as a dildo, rather than a vibrator.
Follow-up commentary
The vibrations for this toy never quite made this a go-to toy, however, I often use it as a simple dildo. It's so pretty and the smooth, firm surface is perfect for use as a dildo.

On the upside, not using it as a vibe saves on batteries!
