Pirates Jesse Jane's smoking pistol - g-spot and clitoral vibrator by Digital Playground - review by Jett X

I dislike hype. So after first hearing about the rabbit-style vibrators, I've been thinking "Psssh, rabbit? I don't need no stinkin' rabbit!"

Turns out I'd really been missing out on more than I could have imagined.

First of all, Jesse Jane's Smoking Pistol is from the series of toys based on the popular ["http://www.edendvd.com/PIRATES/DVD-Description-18538|Pirates] movies. I didn't realize that when I first chose this toy, so that was a super rad bonus when it arrived. The box was really slick looking and kind of reminded me of packaging for an action figure, what with the "collect 'em all!" sort of verbiage on the back.

I'm not a sparkly and pink-loving girl, but in person the toy itself is beautifully crafted, way cooler than it looks in the picture. The designs on the side are really ornate looking, and it was cool to see some skulls amongst the filigree and flowers. I didn't care too much for the rhinestones at the bottom because I could see them falling off eventually and ruining the look of the toy, but for now, they do look pretty.

Once I put in the 4 AAA batteries I was pleased to notice that the sound was relatively quiet for such a strong vibe. I was already pretty hot when I tried it out, so I didn't have any issue inserting the Pistol. However on subsequent solo jaunts, when I wasn't as warmed up, I found the Pistol to be a bit bulky and unwieldy to use. It was a little uncomfortable at times, but once I relaxed a little that wasn't as much of an issue.

I had some eyes rolling in the back of my skull-style sensations using the pistol - extremely enjoyable! I liked the fact that the multi-speeds could be different on the shaft and on the pistol - that made for some interesting sensations. The vibe settings reset when you turn it off though, so you have to cycle back through everything to find your favorite speeds each time you use it. Also, at first the pistol portion that is used for clitoral stimulation was nice, but on some uses it didn't quite hit the spot, so I used a little bullet vibe with it and that worked well.

The clean-up is pretty easy. It cannot be submerged in water, but it's very easy to clean with warm water and soap. It can collect lint if you try and dry it with a cloth, so I let it air dry and stored it in the handy-dandy silky storage bag it came with.
