iVibe pocket rocket by Doc Johnson - review by unfulfilled

I think beginners and advanced users alike should have at least one pocket rocket in their toy box. Sometimes simple is better and there's no need for all the extra bells and whistles that some toys have.

It is designed as a clitoral stimulator, but can also be used on other erogenous zones or on sore muscles. This is by no means to be inserted anywhere; it's meant for external use only. I find for me personally this is best for foreplay and as a little warm-up, and then move on to something else that is guaranteed to get me off.

It is great to use alone or with a partner. You could hold this while being intimate with your partner.

It is not intimidating so beginners would like this feature.

It is best for those that enjoy buzzy vibrations and not deep rumbly vibrations.

The Ivibe Pocket Rocket is plastic, which is an 8 on Eden's safety scale. It is also hypoallergenic, latex free, phthalates free, and made of food grade material.

It is plastic with three silver metal balls for added clitoral stimulation or it also comes with a clear plastic cap that has 12 bumps on it for added pleasure with a layout of 3 in one row, 4 in the next row, 3 in the next row, and two in the last row. I guess it would depend which way you were holding this so technically it could be reversed as well depending on that.

It does not have any smell to it which is always nice.

It comes in five color options: pink, grape, green, blue, and orange. I chose blue because it is a nice light blue color.

It is lightweight and fits easily in the palm of my hand. The dimensions are as follows:

3" circumference
1" diameter

I can see through the colored plastic to where the battery is located.

The small, compact size makes it perfect for travel. As always it is best to take the batteries out while traveling, but if you didn't I don't see how it could accidentally twist itself on. You can easily slip this into your jeans pocket, purse, bag etc. for travel.

I just finished completing a review on the Zini Seed and still had it sitting out on the desk and realized they were around the same size in length.

The controls are very simple, straight forward, and easy to use. To turn on, you twist the vibrator to the right. To turn off, twist to the left; simple as that. Be careful when twisting though because I have had the battery compartment fall off before which I didn't like at all.

It requires one AA battery that was not included. To insert the battery, twist all the way to the left and pull down. Open, Off, and On are imprinted on the toy so it wouldn't be too hard to figure out anyway. The plus side goes down into the case and the minus side is up closest to the toy.

It only has one speed and the buzzy vibrations are throughout the toy. I can feel them at the base and it does make my hand and clit numb and tingly if used for long periods of time. The vibrations are strong for such a small toy, but they are just not the right kind of vibrations for me.

It is somewhat noisy, but nothing that couldn't be covered by some background noise.

The included plastic cap allows the vibrations to be spread over a wider area. The battery runs out fairly quickly; much sooner than most of my toys do. You can begin to notice it is running out of juice because the vibrations start to become weaker and weaker.

This can be stored virtually anywhere due to its small size. I keep mine in my lingerie drawer.

You can use any lubricant that you wish with this toy.

Cleaning with the cap on is a pain because of all the little nubs. You can use soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. It is easiest to use a cotton swab with water to get in between all of those individual textured spaces.

I do not recall what the packaging was like because I ordered this before coming to Eden. I know that it did not come with any additional storage bags.

This was one of the first vibrators I purchased before finding Eden. I did not know at the time what I would like so I ended up buying a variety of relatively inexpensive toys to try out. I consider it to still be a good toy that is worth the suggested retail price. However, because I like more rumbly vibrations I was not able to get off with this product. I'm not discounting that fact for the overall toy though because if you enjoy powerful, buzzy vibrations, this one is really nice.
