Points in the right direction but didn't quite get me there.

One of the Doc Johnson “Reserves” the Candy G-spot vibe reminds me of a product that would sit next to a register for a quick impulse purchase. Looks nice, simple snap open packaging and pretty colors to choose from, but mediocre construction. Can feel uncomfortable with heavy pressure on the gspot.

Use

The Candy G-spot vibe is a good size for inserting vaginally. I'm not an expert with the G-spot so the pointed tip on this vibe is an excellent way to find how to get to it. I used it for both clitoral and G-spot stimulation and after a bit of light touch it found the spot and I came to a climax but resulted in a little bit of pain due to the hardness. Instead of a small point on the end I would prefer a larger and softer surface area toy for my G-spot. I did not insert it anally and would not recommend it for this use because there is no base to prevent it from going to far in.

Material / Texture

The pearl pink version of the Candy G-spot vibe reminds you of bubble gum and has a purple sheen mixed into it’s color. It's hard rigid plastic, has no smell or taste and has no flex or bend to it. Because the surface has no pores and is not created with silicone or rubber it was not necessary to use lubrication with this toy. Once a small amount of stimulation was applied it was easy to insert the G spot vibe.

Design / Shape / Size

The housing of the vibe is sturdy however the molding lines can be seen. The primary concern I have with the construction is the small rubber O ring around the battery compartment, it’s a bit thin, flimsy and doesn't form a tight seal to keep the water out. There is a paper diagram to assist with inserting the batteries the charge direction is not imprinted on the vibe. If you remove the batteries when not in use you can easily forget the right direction when you go to use it again (if you loose the paper). About 6 inches of the vibe is insertable with a slight bend at the 1 inch area (total length 7 inches). The diameter is 3/4 of an inch and can feel small when inside. Definitely provides some room to move the vibe around to find the G spot - which was easy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There is no dedicated on/off switch, only an adjustable dial on the bottom. Turn clockwise to cycle through three levels of vibration. When not inserted the high level rattles the casing and is noisy. If the 2 AAA batteries are not removed prior to storage or travel the vibe can be easily jostled into the 'on' position.
The G spot vibe is marketed as waterproof but was not tested under water because the O ring is small and allowed a small amount of water in the battery compartment during washing.

Care and Maintenance

Because the G Spot vibe is constructed from plastic water or silicone based lubrication can be used. This vibe is hard plastic and easy to wipe down and clean. I would recommend removing the batteries prior to cleaning due to the construction of the compartment. When tightly closed the plastic pieces do not fit snug and the O ring is flimsy.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

The packaging for the Candy G-spot is what first impressed me. No need to bring out the scissors or knives to break into this molded plastic case (recyclable). It easily separates creating a reusable case. The molded plastic is clear with a colorful paper insert.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

Personal comments

As one of the Doc Johnson “Reserves” the Candy G-spot vibe reminds me of a product that would sit next to a register for a quick impulse purchase. Looks nice, simple snap open packaging and pretty colors to choose from. I do not recommend for daily use as the hardness can feel uncomfortable on the g-spot. I would not buy this product from a store front.
