The First Time Power G is a G-spot vibrator made by California Exotics. It’s curved tip makes it easy for anyone with shallow or deep G-spots to use. I don’t recommend using it anally unless you have a partner to keep a firm grip on the toy as there is no flared base. More experienced users with anal play will find the girth of this toy lacking. It’s best purpose is for the ladies to locate and stimulate the G-spot. It can also be used on the clitoris if you like toys that don’t have any flexibility. There is a very thick O-ring around the battery compartment, so feel free to take it in the water with you.

The entire toy is made of smooth, hard plastic. There are no bumps, ridges, or special designs on it, presumably making this a better toy for beginners. The only bumpy part is on the turn dial to help you get a better grip if you want to change the vibration setting. There is a seam around the whole toy, but it is hardly noticeable to the touch.

The Power G is 7 ½” in length with an insertable length of 6 ¼”, which is a lot more than what most people would need in order to stimulate their G-spot. The head comes to a pointed tip which is great for insertion, but in use it can feel a little too sharp. The shaft is completely straight, only having a girth of 3 ¼” in circumference.

The Power G is operated by a turn dial at the base. The bumps make it very easy to turn, especially with lubed up hands. It starts off with a low buzz at about 2 vrooms, and goes all the way up to 4 vrooms. It could possibly be heard through a closed door on the highest setting, but the lower settings are very quiet. The vibrations are rather buzzy, and do make my fingers feel tingly after a while. The vibrations travel throughout the entire toy, but are slightly stronger in the head.

It takes two AA batteries which are not included. Just twist open the battery compartment, and slide the batteries in pointy side first. There is a spring that sticks out of the battery compartment when it is open, and this makes putting the lid back on a bit challenging. It’s quite annoying and something you should be aware of. Take the batteries out if you are travelling with this toy, but you should always take the batteries out when the toy is not in use to prolong their life.

A good rinse with warm water and soap or toy cleaner will do the job. You could use rubbing alcohol to sterilize it, but I recommend using a condom on it if you are sharing this toy. You can use either silicone or water based lubricants, which ever is your favorite. It can be stored anywhere because it won’t pick up any lint or react with other toy materials.

The Power G comes in a plastic casing that clearly shows off the toy. It’s not very good for storage because it is rather tough to open and close. There are no instructions included, which is quite odd considering this is meant to be for beginners. The toy is good quality, but not something I’d consider giving as a gift.

I’m going to be honest, I really don’t like the head of this toy. It is very pointy. It’s almost as pointy as a dull marker. Normally I wouldn’t complain, but this is too pointy to use on the G-spot when using a hard material such as plastic. I continue to use this toy on the clitoris as it provides nice pinpoint stimulation. If you have no idea where your G-spot is, then this may be a good toy to get because it really hones in on a very small area.
