Potential to be great, but fails before the finale

I have to admit, I was not very excited when I received the Tingling Tongue. It is made out of jelly, a toy material I generally avoid. I got a jelly toy this time because the Tingling Tongue is used entirely externally, so I figured, “why not?” I am always looking for a toy that will mimic oral sex to some degree.

A few days after receiving the Tingling Tongue, I decided to try it out. I pulled open the packaging and pulled the batteries out of the casing, not realizing that there were batteries already in the bullet. When I FINALLY managed to pull the bullet out of the sleeve (the plastic wrapped around it made it exceedingly difficult), I found that there were batteries already loaded. I pulled out the plastic separating the batteries from the power button and turned it on.

The first level was a pleasant low vibration. I pushed it again and found a good medium vibration. Then again, a nice strong vibration, and finally a fourth press turned it off. I was pleasantly surprised by the four levels of vibration. I am a person who adores strong vibrations.

I laid in bed trying to figure out the best way to get the finger sleeve to stay on my finger. I have slim fingers, but not too much slimmer than the average woman (ring size 5 or 5.5 maybe?), and found that the finger sleeve was too big on my finger. Once I devised the best way to hold the toy, I went to work.

I really enjoyed the highest vibration setting. I managed to get off on the stable powerful vibration. It was easy enough to position and aim. After about 15 minutes of playing, it died! It comes with replacement batteries (it runs on three watch batteries), but that would only be good for another 15 minutes. The toy will eat batteries like no other toy.

I was somewhat angry and frustrated that I called it quits. The toy is fairly easy to clean up. Just pull out the bullet and wash with warm water and mild soap. My problem with it is that it is jelly, and so it is porous and thus, can harbor bacteria. It is also too small to put a condom over to protect it from bacteria. I would not use this toy for anal stimulation, but that’s my personal preference.

Overall, the Tingling Tongue is a potentially good toy, if the batteries didn’t die after 15 minutes of play. It will work well as a warm up toy.
Follow-up commentary
All the batteries are dead, which means I can't use it unless I take the time to go find exactly the right batteries. Finding new batteries isn't worth it, to me, because they're done within 40 minutes or so. Buying batteries gets rather pricey.
