L'amour bullet - bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by unfulfilled

Bullets can be used to tease and caress your body during foreplay over all of your erogenous zones that enjoy attention and being stimulated. You can use a bullet for clitoral stimulation as well as shallow vaginal insertion.

I believe beginners and advanced toy users can enjoy the many uses of this bullet. I especially think those that like buzzy vibrations and appreciate power will be highly pleased with this product.

The material of this bullet and controller is a phthalate free and latex free PU coated ABS plastic that is considered a 7 on the safety scale. It has a horizontal seam across the middle of the bullet that is visible, but is not noticeable when inserted. The remote control also has a seam around it as well along the outside edge of it.

It does not have any additional texture to it so if you enjoy little love nubs and grooves, then this bullet is not for you. It is ideal for those who prefer smooth toys because there is no added texture anywhere and is perfectly smooth. Also, if you prefer your plastic toys to offer some softness and give then this would not be for you either because it is most definitely hard plastic with no flexibility to it at all.

It did not have any smell or taste that was noticeable to me even right out of the box.

The L'Amour bullet by California Exotic Novelties comes in two colors pink and purple. I chose purple because it is in my top three of favorite colors and matches 80% of the toys that are in my toy collection.

The bullet is similar in shape as the majority of the bullets I own and is 3" long by 3 1/2" around. The remote control looks very similar to a computer mouse but on a much smaller scale, but has the same ergonomic shape. It is 5 1/4" long by 5" around. It is very comfortable to use and fits nicely in my hand.





I love bullets in general, but I am becoming spoiled to those that do not have wires that connect them. That is not the case with this one. The bullet is connected to the remote control that powers it by a silver 25" cord.

I consider the shape not to be discreet at all because if anyone was familar at all with bullets then they would know what this was if it was left out in the open. However, it is small enough to carry in your purse or bag if you were traveling.

This bullet is powered by four AAA batteries that were not included. There was a little battery insertion pamplet included with this product because you have to slide the top set of batteries in first before the bottom set of batteries go in properly. If you did not do it this way, the batteries will pop out of place and just become a headache. Of course, I didn't read the instructions, and found this out on my own. The batteries are located on the bottom of the remote control under a pull tab battery compartment.

The remote control is very easy to use; it has two push button controls, a + and a -, that are located on the top of the remote. To turn on, push the + button one time and it will automatically go to the first setting. It has 8 levels of vibration total and no pulsation patterns. To increase the vibration level continue pressing the + button, to decrease the vibration level, push the - button and to turn off. Again, it's very simple to use and doesn't require a lot to control it. It has a small red light above the + and - buttons that glows when it is turned on.

The buzzy vibrations are located throughout the entire small bullet, but felt mostly at the top and center of the toy. These vibrations are pretty powerful, and probably one of the most powerful bullets that I have encountered especially on the highest setting. When pressure is applied, with either a hand or pc muscles, the intensity does weaken.

At the highest setting, this can be heard inserted in you above the covers, but not through a closed door or through thin walls.

The bullet is considered waterproof, but do not immerse the remote control in water because it is not waterproof and does not have an o ring or enclosure to keep the battery compartment dry.

To care for this toy, wash with warm water and soap or your favorite toy cleaner before and after each use. It is compatible with water based and silicone based lubricants, so you can use either of those with this bullet. I store this in my lingerie drawer with all of my other toys.

The L'Amour bullet comes in your basic, clear, see-through, plastic box with the name of the product writen on the front and a picture of the bullet on the back with information about the product. It's nothing fancy at all and I wouldn't suggest using it for storage or gift giving.

If this bullet did not have buzzy vibrations, then this would be one of my favorite bullets of all time. The intensity is great and that is something that I love and hardly ever find in a toy.
