Powerful Little Pill

This is powerful for it's size, and it's great for teasing, but not so great for actual orgasms...unless you are VERY sensitive.

Pros
Small and quiet, powerful for being so small.
Cons
TOO small and the controls are finicky, not enough power.

Use

Sophia's Petite Treats is a very small bullet vibrator made by Doc Johnson. It is meant to be used on the clitoris and labia, although it is great to use on the nipples as well. You really wouldn't want to insert this into the vagina or anus, as the cord actually unplugs from the controls, so it could easily get lost. It is also not waterproof at all.

Material / Texture

Both the bullet and the controls of Sophia's Petite Treats are made out of smooth, hard, red plastic. It does not have any smell or taste to it. There is a small, barely noticeable seam around the middle of the bullet. Although you can use either silicone or water-based lube with this, it is really not needed unless you want it to glide a bit more smoothly over the clitoris.

Design / Shape / Size

Although I knew this toy was small when I requested it, I did not realize just how freaking small it was!

The controls are about 3 3/4" by 2". The cord is two feet long...and the bullet itself? Well, it was really hard to measure for me, so I took a photo instead. Here is the bullet, next to a common antibotic:

So tiny!

The design, while tiny, is a good one. It is small enough to stay where it is put most of the time. I appreciate the two foot long cord. The control part fits very well into the hand and is easy to hold on to.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Here's where the toy has the most issues. For its size, it is surprisingly strong - it really is. I did not expect anything this small to be this strong. HOWEVER, the strength is only 2-3 vrooms, at most. I would be incredibly disappointed with the toy if it were bigger. The vibrations are definitely more of a light buzz, not deep at all (no surprise there). While fairly quiet, it does buzz a bit. The buzz sounds much like a mosquito, strangely enough.

The controls drive me nuts. It's a simple dial control. The tiniest bump will set it off, which is very frustrating. I've accidentally turned it on while walking around with it in my hand before. The controls are strange too. The lowest setting on the dial is actually sort of stronger, almost, than the highest setting. It is more rumbly, perhaps?

This toy is enough to get me a little horny while using it, but I don't think I'll ever get an orgasm from it. However, I have noticed that it does a very good job at stimulating my nipples. Because I have rather large labia, I did try wrapping the toy in them, but I became more annoyed than aroused. I have to admit though, it was a rather unique feeling, especially since I've never encountered anything this small.

Sophie's Petite Treats is powered by two AA batteries.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Not enough variety

Care and Maintenance

This toy is pretty easy to clean, since it's only plastic. The wire and bullet are able to be detached from the controls, leading to even easier cleaning. A little soap and water should be all you need. While you can try storing it in the plastic it came in, it's hard to curl the wire back up the right way. Since it's entirely made of plastic, it shouldn't interact with any other toy material and therefore can pretty much be stored anywhere.

Packaging

Ah, don't we all love trashy packaging? This one was no exception. Fortunately for all of you, I took photos. I cannot help but gawk at the photos of the barely dressed woman and "crazy" fonts on the packages.

cover

The toy came with the free packages of lube, presumably included by EF. I don't use lubes with glycerin in them, but I appreciate the thought.

Follow-up commentary
Nope. Sits on my desk, staring me in the face. I've tried to use it once since I've reviewed it. I've thought maybe it would be interesting to use when outside of the house, though, but I have not tried it yet. Honestly, it's just too damn small. I think it's the novelty of it being small and powerful for its size that made me give it two stars.
