The Blue is made from extremely soft TPR and hard plastic. Basically, everything you use for stimulation is soft TPR whereas the controls are plastic. The shaft has very little inner core (only at the rotating beads and at the end of the shaft), therefore it is extremely soft. The hardest part of this toy is the clit stimulator, due to the fact that it mostly incases a hard, plastic, bullet. I can squeeze the shaft, all the way down to the power wire! When I saw this, I thought it would be too soft for insertion, but it's not floppy. So, it is the most comfortable toy I have found for insertion. It just slides right in! There are a few bumps and grooves here and there on the vibe, but honestly, once everything is turned on, you won't notice them.

The Blue has a medium, sickly sweet, fake candy smell to it which is not overpowering and shouldn't be a problem if you keep it away from your nose. On the other hand, it is tasteless and a joy to have in your mouth. I have yet to notice this toy being a lint magnet.

So how large is this toy? The toy is 10 inches long with 5 of those inches being insertable length. The circumference is 4 1/2 inches at its widest part (the beads) and tapers at the realistic head. Now, let's get into the functions. This toy has 192 functions! Yes you read that right. When I saw that I thought I'd never get through them all for review. Luckily, the box is stretching the truth. Both bullets (located in the clit and anal stimulator) have eight speeds of vibration. The shaft has eight speeds of rotation. The bullets and shaft can be set to differing speeds. Now, there are three functions of vibration and pulsation settings. Both the shaft and the bullets must be on the same vibe and rotation setting.

To start off, there is a dedicated on off switch at the base of the control panel. Turn it on, and a nice, red, LED light tells you that the unit is ready. Push it again, and it turns the unit off. To the left is the control for the shaft, marked with a C. This controls both the rotation, which rotates about half an inch, and the internal beads, which are secured in place by plastic skewers. Basically, their are six large beads in the middle and 12 small beads on the top and bottom of the rotation disk. They provide a nice, pleasurable, deep, grinding sensation, and they never jam! So, when you turn on the rotation, by pushing the up button, you can increase the speed from low, to medium, to high, which is too fast for me. When it is on high, I can no longer feel the grinding of the beads, therefore I keep it on a lower speed. Now, push the up button above the N and you have your vibe controls. You can go from low, medium, to high with eight different speeds. I always have mine on the highest. The vibes are INTENSE! On the fourth speed, the tongue of the lizard starts going everywhere! It's wonderful!

Now for the function. To switch through the functions, you push the F button. The first is steady vibration, the next alternates from one direction of rotation to another as the bullets follow with hard, pulsating, and the third does the same thing, only faster. My favorite is the second mode, which provides me with sudden bursts of vibration as the unit shifts direction. It's so strong in fact, that the clit stimulator jerks around, rubbing my clit! It's wonderful!

This unit takes three AA batteries which are placed in a removable battery compartment. There is a red string attached to the compartment for easy retrieval. Just pull the compartment out, put the batteries in, and place it back into the unit. Only make sure the string is not obstructing the O ring. This unit is fully waterproof and does not get water inside the compartment as long as the string is properly tucked away. Furthermore, there is not a decrease in power when all functions are turned on at high speed! Finally, the sound is there but it can't be heard through a closed door.

So how do you take care of the Blue? It's really not hard. TPR is porous so always wash with warm water and mild soap before and after each use, or use a toy cleaner. If you intend to share, cover the shaft with a condom. Sadly, the clit and anal simulators cannot be covered so this probably isn't a toy you'll want to share. Finally, use only silicone and water based lubes with this product. Store in a cool, dark, dry place, away from other toys as they might melt the TPR. I store mine in the plastic clam shell it arrived in.
