Pretty as a princess, as delicate as a gorilla
The Pocket Fairy is an amazing vibrator that produces very intense vibrations for such a small vibrator. Cute and feminine, she's the perfect stowaway for your purse or luggage, or to keep at home next to your bed!Published: August 3, 2010
Pros:
Rechargeable, compact, and strong vibrations
Cons:
Vibrations tend to be a bit whiny
I had my eye on the Pocket Fairy ever since I was introduced to the amazing Fairy Wand Massager. I'm trying to go green with any new toys I add to my collection, so when I realized that the Pocket Fairy was rechargeable; I knew I had to have her for my own.
The Pocket Fairy is advertised as a discreet massager, which is an interesting choice of words because it brings to mind something quiet and subdued. The Fairy Pocket is anything but that! While she is on the petite side (just five and three quarter inches long and three and a half inches around), she is not very quiet, due to the powerful vibrations she gives off.
The Pocket Fairy offers two speeds, what I like to call high and turbo. Speed control is done via a simple push switch that is located about two thirds of the way up on the wand. Besides the two speeds, the switch is also used to turn the Fairy off.
The vibrations pack a huge punch, but they're on the buzzy side. This is good if you require strong vibrations in order to have a faster orgasm, or an orgasm period, but not so good if buzzy, almost whiny vibrations tend to tickle and cause discomfort more than titillate and stimulate. Fortunately, the sheer intensity of the vibrations overrides the buzziness, and it wasn't long before I was hitting my peak -- and then hitting it a second time -- with the Pocket Fairy. Note that I haven't even used the Pocket Fairy on its highest speed -- it's just a little too fast for me!
The Pocket Fairy is made out of plastic. Even with the ribbing around the flexible head of the toy, she is still easy to wipe down after use. Take care when cleaning your Pocket Fairy, as she is not waterproof and the charging port is exposed, unless you saved the push-in cap that came with the toy. Charging is accomplished via an included white adapter (worth noting: the Pocket Fairy and the charging adapter are packaged separately), and seems to take no more than an hour or so. Interestingly, the Pocket Fairy can be used during charging, which is not something you always come across with toys. While the toy is charging, the base glows a bright blue.
I wouldn't recommend the Pocket Fairy for anyone with an overly sensitive clitoris; this is the type of toy to grab by the horns and take on only if you're prepared for the intense stimulation that she puts out!

-
Does the Pocket work as well as the Mini? I LOVE MY MINI but its sadly very hard to hide and or pack.
Does anyone know if the Pocket packs the same punch?

Which should I buy?
-
I love this one plus the Hitachi wand and I am torn which one to buy. I love the Hitachi items and the variety. I love that this one is cordless. The price is not a huge difference and wanted some other opinions. Which one lasts longer & which do you have?
-
I prefer the Hitachi because he vibrations are deeper and more thuddy than the Fairy. And, Hitachi has been a household name since the 70s. If it didn't work, they wouldn't still be so well loved.

I don't have the pocket fairy, and I do have hitachi, and I don't really like its buzzy vibes.

Buzz Buzz

Generally, this toy seems to be pretty thrilling for everyone but has some mixed reviews on the type of vibrations. How "buzzy" is this toy or is it more "throbby?" Would the buzz be more similar to a bullet or other massager wands?

Oh, I have to have it. Awesome review! Thank you.

Looks so fun!
