Probably won't visit Shane's World oftenAll in all it's not a bad toy, it just isn't for me. I would suggest this vibrator for a beginner or someone exploring strong vibrations, but for me, it's more or less a uni-tasker. I probably won't be visiting Shane's World for a while though.
easy to clean
vibrations too strong for my taste, heads need to be redesigned
This is a pretty straight forward waterproof vibrator. What caught my attention about the Shane's world pledge party is that it has 4 different "heads" on it. They fit a lot like a chap-stick top on the tip of the vibrator. Without the heads, it has 3 little metal knobs on the tip. The heads are all textured differently; they are rounded and smooth, 4 bumps (looks like a lego), 12 pointed bumps (sharp) and a bunch of different sized pointed bumps (also sharp). The vibrations are pretty strong; it will get the job done, but I don't personally like vibrations that are too strong. It's a twist to start design with one speed and it is REALLY LOUD. This is not good for a roommate situation at all. I put it under a pillow in my room and could hear it in the living room through closed doors. This vibrator uses 3 watch batteries, there are 8 included. The packaging says 4 batteries, but only 3 fit in mine.
The Shane's world pledge party is all plastic except for the little metal bumps on the tip. It has no smell and is very smooth. I would suggest this for beginners who like stronger vibrations.
There really isn't anything special about the design, it's very straight forward, twist on and off. The 4 different heads are a nice concept, but the design of the textured heads could have been executed in a much more creative way.
As a vibrator it does exactly what it should do. The vibrator is about 3 inches, so it vibrates all over. When you change the head, make sure to push it on tight so it doesn't slip off. I like the waterproof feature, but that doesn't change how loud it is. The controls are simple twist. It is easy to figure out and easy to use.
Being plastic and waterproof this toy is very easy to clean. I don't bother using my toy cleaner for this; I would suggest antibacterial soap and warm water. Because it's plastic that means you don't have to worry about storing it with your silicone toys or what kind of lube to use, which is nice. As with most toys we have, we just store it in the clam packaging it came in.
The toy comes in a plastic clam package, with 8 watch batteries and no instructions. In this case, the lack of instructions doesn't take away from anything because it's easy to figure out. The packaging is not oddly shaped so it's easy to wrap for a gift. The pictures on the packaging aren't overtly sexual, it has the brand name, so you can tell what it is, but it doesn't scream vibrator.
