Opis - traditional vibrator by Shots media - review by Shyness

My review is on the Opis made by Touche a trademark of Shots Media. The Opis is made from purple high grade silicone. This toy has a textured swirl pattern going down around it. The Opis is a multi-speed vibrator,with an ultra sonic motor. It has 10 different vibrations. These consist of slow, medium, fast. There are also six different pulsing patterns, and a roller coaster pattern. Due to the ultra sonic motor, the vibrations are felt throughout the whole shaft of the toy. This vibe takes 2 AA batteries which are actually included.


I have to say I was excited to receive this for review. I feel it's best used for solo play. By myself, when used slow and gentle, I found it be very satisfying. I also felt the swirled textured ridges were great for clitoral use. When used with my significant other however, the textures were not enjoyable vaginally. This is the reason behind the title, "Proceed with caution." For me personally when not used slow and gentle the swirled texture is too rigid when used vaginally. I think that with the swirled textured ridges, if it was a little smaller than 1 1/2 in diameter, it could have been great for couples play. So, unless you are with someone that can contain their excitement while using this on you, I suggest solo play.


Since this toy is made from high grade silicone, it is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, latex free, and phthalate-free. It can also be sterilized, however if you share toys it's recommended to still use a condom. You can use toy cleaner, or soap and water to clean. It says it's shower proof instead of water proof so I don't think you would want to submerge it. You do not want to use a silicone based lube due to the toy itself being silicone. I recommend using a water-based lube.


I wouldn't say that the Opis is discreet. It claims to be fairly quiet, but after the first two speeds it gets louder by quite a bit. To turn the Opis off you have to press and hold the push button down, you don't have to cycle through all the speeds. I tend to like this feature myself. This toy has a 6 1/2 inch insertable length and is 1 1/2 in diameter. Inside the box it's packaged in are two manuals, one with English,French,German and Spanish the other with Dutch, Russian, Polish and Italian. It also has a one year manufacturer's warranty. The Opis is held securely in a clamshell case along with the 2 AA batteries inside its box.
