Pronged disappointment!

Do not get this as your first vibrator. I was reeled in by the cute and unique design and the awesome packaging, but do not get fooled by its good looks. This pronged little disappointment simply missed all the sweet spots and I simply could not get it to work with my anatomy. The clitoral arm does nothing for me except slap at my clit uncomfortably. The vibrations are also super weak. Just keep moving on folks, just not worth it in my opinion.

Use

This was my very first rabbit/dual vibrator. I thought that since I actually enjoy short dildos and love using a clitoral vibrator at the same time, a short rabbit vibrator with an awesome looking clitoral attachment would be right for me. When I saw the Short & Sweet Spice, I really thought that I would be getting something pretty awesome. I had hoped that this little rabbit would finally put an end to my constant juggling of dildos and clit vibes.

Unfortunately, the Short & Sweet Spice fell a little... short. It really did not match my anatomy at all, and no matter what I did, it simply could not hit the areas that I wanted. No matter how I twisted and turned, and tried to bend the clitoral arm, it just won't give me the clitoral stimulation I need! It was freaking frustrating!!

Strangely enough, it actually worked better when I turned it around and faced the clitoral arm to tickle my anus and perineum instead. Not exactly the kind of play I was looking for sadly, since I'm not a fan of anal stimulation to begin with.

Material / Texture

The Short and Sweet Spice is made of clear, purple TPR. It is extremely soft and pliable, which is actually quite nice. It feels very much like a jelly toy but without the nasty phthalates, and it somewhat conforms to your body.

I really did not notice any smell coming off of it, especially after washing. I find that it isn't sticky or anything, so it thankfully does not seem to attract a lot of dust.

Despite the fact that this toy is completely smooth, I find that I still need a lot of lube for it, which is usually not a problem for me. The texture on it is quite subtle, but other than that it is just annoying.

Design / Shape / Size

The size would have been okay if it was not for the fact that the clitoral arm is so atrocious. The insertable shaft's length is just enough for me, stimulating the first few inches of my pussy. However, I find that despite the fact that I try to push the clitoral arm into position, I can't help but feel that it needs to be angled higher. I think that the length would have been fine for me, but I just can't get it to reach my clit properly. It was so damn annoying!!

The Spice's shaft also has a bit of a texture. It has triangular shaped ridges on the side, and has a smaller head than a body. This makes the shape rather unwieldy, and I have to hold it in place so that my pussy does not push it out.

As for the clitoral arm, I got this design mostly because of the design. I thought that the three pronged cactus like design would provide some sort of surround vibration for my clit, but it just sort of wobbles annoyingly. When I actually manage to get it anywhere close to my clit, it only slaps the area repeatedly in a painful and annoying fashion. Definitely not my idea of stimulating.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Oh god, the performance. I hate this thing! I don't know if the Spice I have is defective, but the moment I slide in the batteries, it just keeps vibrating and will not turn off. I have to take out the batteries each and every time just so that I can turn it off! I also thought that this vibe was supposed to have three vibration speeds that I can cycle through by clicking the button, but I really did not notice any difference in the speed settings.

The vibrations were soooo weak. I mean, it is the type of vibration speed I use to warm up, but not to get me to orgasm. It was so incredibly frustrating, because I could not even use this toy as a clitoral vibe since it was just too weak. I actually would not have minded if the shaft vibrations are weak. To be honest, I am not a fan of internal vibrations to begin with. However, I would have REALLY wanted more power in the clitoral arm

And the damn clitoral arm!!! Not only is it weak, but its so unwieldy and simply does not fit my body. It was just incredibly frustrating that I am on the verge of chucking this out the window.

I would have to say that this is a very quiet vibe. But I do not think that that is an achievement because the Spice is too weak to make enough noise anyway.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning TPR is a cinch. Just use soap and water, and then leave it out to dry. Despite the Spice's crazy looking design, there aren't any creases for lube and pussy juice to hide in. There is a crease near the plastic controls where the TPR attaches, but I really do not get stuff in it unless I try to take it into the bath.

I don't have a boyfriend or any other kind of partner right now so I only use it for personal use, however, since the material is quite porous, you might want to use a condom over it if you plan on using it with a partner. But you know, rabbit vibes do not really work for partners unless they were made of silicone. A condom would only make the clitoral arm useless. Well, in the case of the Spice it is already useless so I guess that's not much of a problem...

Packaging

This is the only part where the Spice excels. The packaging is incredibly cute! It comes in a cute and colorful tin with a clear plastic cover. Vector designs and the Evolved logo is printed on the cover, and the logo itself is raised up in a rather sharp and pronounced lettering.

There is a metal handle on both sides, and metal clasps to keep the lid on. The Spice itself is nestled in a plastic mold that is shaped like the toy.

While the packaging makes the Spice really easy to store, it is quite big and takes up a lot of space. It does not bother me however, and I think that the packaging is adorable. I wish more toys came with fun tins or boxes like these.

Personal comments

Well, I guess I was too enamored by the size and the whimsical design of the toy that I simply overlooked the reviews for it. I heard someone say over here that it is strong, but that is a flat out lie. It is the weakest, most pathetic vibrating toy I own right now.

I also do not know if I just received a defective item, but removing the batteries each and every time just so that I can turn it off is a real pain. The only thing I do like about it is its squishy material and that it is waterproof. Even then, it is a real disappointment, especially the clitoral arm. I tried hard to make it work for me, but the annoying shape simply will not allow me to enjoy this toy in any way at all. What a waste of money!

Follow-up commentary
I really have not found a better use for this particular vibrator of mine. I still use the Spice once in a while because I feel like I am wasting money if I don't, but it is a warm up toy for me more than anything else. It does not work for clitoral stimulation well because of its weak power, and I still hope that I had bought the Marvel instead, which seems to be a more anatomically friendly design (though no power is still a deal breaker for me).

For those wondering, I have never managed to fix the speed settings on this thing. The batteries are positioned correctly, because turning it around means that the toy will not vibrate AT ALL. Oh well, maybe next time. I am still looking for a rabbit that will work for me.
