Pure Vibes, No Tsunami Warning on this one
I've had better and I have had worse. It's small, convenient and cute so I will continue to experiment with it like I've done the last seven or so months. It's not earthshaking, it was somewhat disappointing. I would really like to see this product in the size that Nasstoys has made their other Pure toys. I own five Pure toys, they are good, quality products, but they all have more need for power; three or four AA batteries instead of 3 AAA batteries.Published: June 25, 2009

Cobalt is my favorite color! The design of a little blue dolphin surfacing with a ball on its snout, emerging out of a splash of waves, is visually beautiful to look at. The packaging is a basic box with a picture of the product and the words "Pure Vibes". It's not the purest silicone in actuality, it’s very good quality, but it is TPR.
It feels slightly rubbery, mine had no odor, it was soft, but still firm. It's a shorty as far as vibes are concerned. A little over five inches are insertable, it totals 8 inches in length, and the circumference was 5 inches or an inch and five-eighths at its maximum point. It feels smaller than that in reality.
There are two separate controls on the pad-one for the rotating ball tip and the vibration of the dolphin, and the other for the intensity of the wave clit stimulator. The dolphin does not rotate. You can change the direction of the ball tip, which is supposed to stimulate the g-spot. If you lie on your back with your knees around your head, and bend the toy in you, it does-a very little bit, however.
It takes 3 AAA batteries which is not that much juice, if you are used to one of those Decadent Indulgence Rabbits or a Hitatchi wand. I got a bit numb, frustrated, but did not surf the big wave. On occasion with the Pure Vibes #71, I caught the wave. But it wasn't one of those big waves with the pipelines going through it, that you can ride and ride and ride through till you hit the coast. There was not enough juice, or maybe my body wasn't feeling up to it.
This toy is completely waterproof, easy to clean with antibacterial soap or toy cleaner, condoms fit over it easily, and it’s discreet enough to take in your carry-on. Not to the beach, it’s not that discrete.
The control pad is very easy to operate while inserted, and the batteries are easily loaded into its own battery pack. It’s well made, it’s quiet-very quiet in the realm of the vibrator world, and increasing the ball rotation/dolphin vibration does not decrease the clit stim's output of vibration.

Experience
I tried this toy many times and burned out loads of AAA batteries. The best way to get more stimulation is to use your hand on the control pad as a handle, to rock the vibrator back and forth while doing some thrusting. This stimulates the pelvic floor nerves, and the vaginal opening; because our friend Flipper does not have beads rotating around him. (Or her, its hard to tell when a dolphin is that small) It actually felt better inserted anally.
This toy will last you if you feed it only water soluble lube products. If you are going the anal route, Maximus, Probe Thick and Rich, or Astro Glide Jelly will work well for you.

I don't use this very often, it's not as stimulating as the Decadent Indulgence, it's smaller and louder. It is however, cute and mostly silicone. I still rate it a 3; it has a very good touch pad for controlling tempo and vibration. It has a very easy to load waterproof battery pack and it's a quality vibrator all around.

What an odd toy. Kind of weird placement for the dolphin and I bet I would find his fins painful. Did you notice that? I'm not sure I would say the lack of rotation is a con - unless you were expecting rotating and then it's really your misunderstanding.
Also, interesting suggestion here "If you lie on your back with your knees around your head, and bend the toy in you, it does-a very little bit, however." I'd probably kill myself if I tried that, though, and some people may be able to get excellent G-spot stimulation from this. It's good to keep in mind that there are different anatomies.
Oh - an afterthought. How strange of them to go with AAAs. Did you happen to notice how fast they burned out?
I'm second on the boat of killing ones self with the suggested pose. There is just no way I would be able to put my knees behind or around my head while laying down and trying to maneuver a toy.
Is their just one vibration setting or multiple? Any real difference between if there are more than one?

An inch and five eights is the thickness.
I'm pretty flexible and can get my legs behind my head and find the sensations much stronger in that sort of position.
The fins were not painful, and most of Pure Vibe's toys shafts rotate really well. They are usually well made and well thought out -and all Pure Vibe toys have three vibration settings each for the shaft and the clit.
