Purple flirt - strap-on vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Happy Camper

Seeing how this was my very first verified product for review from EF, I was more than excited when I found this in a package on my doorstep. The toy made sense and it looked like it had potential. I had such high hopes. But honestly, this product isn't very fun to review. It had no wow factor as far as function went but it didn't have any epic disappointment story to go with it. I suppose the perfect way to describe my feelings for it is that it was underwhelming.

I was really hoping this could be a toy that I could wear under my jeans around the house. It looks small and discreet enough to leave in while doing chores, even with kids running around the house. But in cranking it up, I got a definite buzzing noise between my hips/lips. If I turned it on to a lower setting I suppose I could get away with it, but that's not particularly satisfying at all. Even as a tease. This is enough of a problem to defeat the purpose of the toy. I mean having something hands-free is always nice but I'm not sure there's much point to a strap-on if it's not silent enough to wear out and about. Or even in a house with younger kids. If I want to get anything out of this toy I have to crank it up. But to do that I need privacy. And even then, it doesn’t please very much. It tickles and it buzzes but it doesn’t hit any particular sweet spot of mine. But it’s true, I’ve always been a bigger fan of pulsation. And my clit tends to be a little shy. It likes to hide so I have to be really intentional about hitting it. This toy isn’t really ideal with that.

Everytime I want to use this toy, it seems I’m cleaning hair off of it. Sometimes it even collects on the way back to my room and I have to clean it off a second time. I live with pets so this material was a nightmare. I also found it particularly hard to clean because of the straps. A part of me wishes the straps were removable. Most of me is glad that this was an experiment.

If you’re on the sensitive side, this toy does fit the female form well. The shape has definite potential. But as far as the rest of the toy goes, I’d save your money for another product.

What more can I say that I haven't already said? A year has passed and I still don't like this toy. I forget why I gave it two stars. It just sits there collecting dust and taking up space. And it still somehow manages to collect dog hair while all my other toys in my storage are fine. I think it's time I threw it out. This toy has done absolutely nothing to redeem itself since my original review.
