Climax Clicks double click - bullet discontinued by Topco Sales - review by Sammi

I’ll admit it. I was initially attracted to the Climax Clicks bullets for their color. Orange, glorious orange! I’m not sure what so intrigues me about it, but something about orange screams “sex toy - buy me!” to me, and these double bullets looked fun to try.

The Climax Clicks bullets come in a box with the bullets visible through the front. Not a giant Tic Tac box, mind you, but a standard toy box. The back of the box contains product information, as well as other climax products to try.

This toy is a lovely vibrant orange. The bullets are medium-sized, about 2 1/2" long and 1” in diameter with a smooth, soft finish. A seam is visible around the center of each, but it isn't noticeable during use. The bullets look like giant corded orange Tic Tacs (my favorite breath mint). And they come as a pair since, you know, you never have just one.

Each bullet has about 1 1/2" of free cord before the cords join to connect to the controller. The cord is 32" overall. It can be carefully separated if you want more space between the bullets. A small rubber O-ring is at the connection of the cord to each bullet and also where the cord joins the controller. The bullets are meant to be used externally (clitorally) or vaginally. They should never be inserted anally in case the cord breaks and they become lost.

The controller is 4 1/4" long, 1 1/2" wide, and 3/4" thick. It has the same finish as the bullets and also has two grips on each side. These help you hold onto the controller when your hands are slippery and are also used to grip when separating the halves to load the batteries. The halves can be a bit difficult to split apart, but a firm grip and steady pull will separate them. An O-ring is present here as well so the entire toy, controller and all, can be taken into the bath or shower. This toy takes 2 AAA batteries (the box suggests using rechargeable ones), and a paper inside the compartment indicates their direction.

One thing you have to be careful about is getting the controller halves back together correctly. The bottom of the corded half has a raised CE, which indicates the bottom. The top of the other half has the on/off button. Although the halves fit together either way, if you don’t have them turned correctly the power won’t turn on.

The controller features a dedicated on/off button as well as a unique way to change the function. You can slip your finger through the hole in the controller and click the button to easily cycle through the different functions.

The Climax bullets have 7 functions:
- Steady vibration
- Fast pulsation
- Longer, stronger pulsation with some short pulses
- 6 long pulses, 4 medium pulses, then many short, fast pulses (repeats)
- Steady vibration
- 3 short pulses and 1 long pulse repeated 3 times, then 2 short (repeats)
- Fast pulses before high and steady for 10 seconds (repeats)

The clicker is back-lit and glows and pulses orange along with the vibration pattern. It's a bright light, and fun to watch in the dark.

These aren't the quietest bullets, and they are louder when they bump into each other. Low to moderate background noise should cover up the sound of their use, though.

With O-rings at the critical points, the bullets and controller are waterproof and can be safely used in the shower or tub. Just make sure that the O-rings are secure before taking this in the water!

The Climax bullets are made of plastic, so they are phthalates free and nonporous. They're easy to clean - simply wash them with antibacterial soap and warm water and gently dry them. It's best to remove the batteries when storing the bullets.

The Climax Bullets are a lot of fun! While the color and design drew me to them, I was happy to find that they worked well. The vibrations were moderately high and fairly buzzy surface vibrations, and the bullets really jumped around. They made my fingers numb when holding onto them for long lengths of time.

I found the bullets pretty versatile. I tried one clitorally with the other inserted vaginally, and I also tried putting both of them around my clit for more distributed vibrations. The original separation of the bullets was enough to position them well.

The way I liked these the best, though, was inserting both vaginally. The bumping into each other that they did inside intensified the sensation of both the steady and patterned settings, and I found it to be highly stimulating and great to use this way during foreplay.

I loved the fact that these had a dedicated on/off button and the clicker was easy to use. Neither my husband nor I had problems changing the vibration pattern accidentally, and it didn't take any force to click and cycle through the patterns.

The bullets also worked well in the water. Even submerging the bullets and controller in the tub, no water got in the battery compartment or inside the bullets. I'd recommend checking the O-rings before each time you take it for water play, though, just to make sure they're still in place.

These bullets really are a lot of fun. And don't forget: they're orange.
