Harmony yang - bullet discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by unfulfilled

The Harmony Yang by Doc Johnson is designed as a clitoral stimulator, but can also be used on any other erogenous zone that you enjoy being stimulated. It can be inserted vaginally, but with only a short length that can be inserted it does not deliver in that aspect. Do not attempt to insert this anally because this bullet is very tiny and is not designed with anal insertion in mind. Overall, I consider this bullet more of a tease than anything else. It would be ideal for those that do not need much power to achieve satisfaction or with just foreplay in mind.

It is a waterproof, phthalate free, latex free, hypo-allergenic bullet. It is made out of hard plastic that is non-porous and is considered an 8 on Eden's safety scale. It has a smooth feel to it, but you can definitely feel the hard plastic which has no give at all. It does not have any added texture to it so if you enjoy little love nubs and grooves, then this bullet is not for you. Also, if you prefer your plastic toys to offer some softness and give then this would not be for you either.
It has no discernable smell or taste that can be bothersome.

This product comes in either black yin or a white yang, I chose the white yang. It is nice sleek white color that reflects light off of it well making it look shiny. As far as size is concerned, it's a little bit longer than my middle finger and the toy is slender at the top and wider at the base. My husband said it looks similar in size to lipstick. I do not see any issues if this was left out and someone had company over because it does not look like a traditional toy so I consider it to be discreet.

It fits easily and comfortably in the palm of my hand. You can easily take it with you anywhere in your bag, purse, or pocket making it ideal for travel.

It measures 3 ½” long by ¾” wide with a overall girth of 2 ½”. It has an insertion length of 2 ¾”.



As far as the design of the bullet goes, this is my fourth bullet, and as you will see in the picture below each bullet is designed differently. I like that it does not have any cords and extra controls like the B Naughty Deluxe or Powerplay.

It has one push button located at the bottom of the toy. I find the button to be easy to use and not something that could accidentally get pushed in the middle of things. My husband doesn't like the push-button, he thought it seemed flimsy and could potentially break off if used too much.

It has three speeds: low, medium, and high. Push the button one time and it defaults to low, push again for medium, again for high, and then one last time to turn off. The three speeds do not deliver quite enough power for me or my husband. However, it does deliver more power than I expected from something powered by one AAA battery. Overall, I would consider the highest setting to be a low 4vroom.

The motor is in the middle and the vibrations are mostly concentrated on the tip. However, the vibrations can be felt throughout to the base of the toy, but I believe this is due to its small size. It did not make my hand go numb when using it as some bullets tend to do.

It buzzes moderately loud. It can be heard through my pants, but not loud enough to be heard in another room or while using in the shower. So unless someone is right next to you, they would not be able to hear it.

I consider the vibrations to be a mix-breed of buzzy and rumbly. They are not as buzzy as some bullets tend to be, but also not technically rumbly as other toys are either so maybe a safe in the middle of both.

I did test the water-proof capabilities out in the bathtub and shower and it passed with flying colors. There's an O-ring that protects the battery compartment from allowing water to get in.

It requires 1 AAA batteries which was not included. The battery is housed at the bottom of the toy under a screw on/off lid. The battery compartment comes out for easy insertion of the battery and slides back into the toy nicely.

It is completely waterproof making clean-up a breeze. You can use soap and running water or your favorite toy cleaner. It does not have any extra grooves in it that makes cleaning difficult so the smooth feature of this toy is an added bonus when it comes to cleaning.

It is also compatible with any lubricant that you choose to use.

It came in your basic clear package with grey coloring. You can see the product through the package. It has a watermark of the yin/yang symbol under the name of the product “Harmony” on the front and “find your erotic center” underneath Harmony. The front also mentions that it is a discreet multi-speed massager. Therefore, there's no denying this is a toy if you were opening this in front of someone. The back shows some specs of the product and the side shows you can get it in black or white.

Storage: It comes with its own carrying case so it's easy to store. The carrying case looks like those cases they sale at Christmas time that hold fingernail clipper sets. The carrying case is approximately 4” long by 1 ½” wide and the bullet fits in there nicely. Due to its small size, you can store it easily in your drawer or toy box.

When I received this, I was taken aback from its small size. It was much smaller than I had expected. The last bullet I reviewed was the monster of all bullets so this was not exactly what I was expecting. I know the Black Magic Super Bullet is not your normal bullet, but still there's a dramatic difference between the two.

Due to its small size, it was very easy to hold onto my clit while having sex with my husband, but I did not get any added enjoyment out of it. When rubbing it on my husband's penis, he said he like the feeling of getting rubbed more than the vibrations. He couldn't feel the vibrations at all and he generally likes me to use bullets on him.

I really liked the idea of yin/yang and I jumped on the opportunity to review this. However, I can honestly say that it just doesn't offer the amount of power that I need. Granted, the only product I'm able to get off with at the moment is the Eroscillator Deluxe, but this just doesn't offer it.
