I've amassed a healthy collection of
rabbit vibes, so when I received my
Lady bug vibe, I was a tad prejudiced about how it would perform. Most of my expectations were met, though some were not.
The lady bug vibe is adorable, complete with red jelly, black spots, and two antennae. Unlike
other vibes of this class, I did not find the vibrator to be that heavy, which makes it very user-friendly. The three AAA batteries it runs on gave it just enough oomph to bring the toy up to an intense speed. The speed of the external ladybug and rotation of the internal shaft provided plenty of variance to keep me ultra happy and never, ever bored.
What I found interesting and different with the Lady bug was the placement of the two antennae. Instead of resting directly on top of the clitoris, they nestle on either side of your clit, with the bullet inside the ladybug making the most direct contact. Having this extra stimulation was an added bonus as it brought on some intense, eyes rolling back into my head, pillow-clenching orgasms. In addition, the spots on the shaft of the vibrator are raised and added a bit of extra internal stimulation; nothing hardcore, but most certainly pleasant.
My only complaint about the Lady bug is that it caused a lot of racket; which is not a problem really, unless you are trying to be totally stealth about your playtime. Trust me; your moans will more than likely drown out any mechanical noise!
Overall the Lady bug definitely gives you a lot of power and options at an affordable price. It is positively a great buy for the first time "rabbit" user or a great addition to an already full toy box.
