There are big pros and big cons to Stormy's Pearl Diver. With the power of three C batteries behind it, the vibrations on the rabbit are strong. Very strong. So strong that I had to keep turning the vibration function off to keep from over-stimulating myself. But, on the plus side, those strong vibrations were fantastic at the moment of orgasm. Also, the ears on the rabbit are thick, so under a softer vibration setting they wouldn't get much action.

The rotating beads, on the other hand, barely rolled and jammed up more often than not. I kept the rotation on high, though, because the slight vibrations from the bead rotation device were pleasant and a good option when the vibrations from the rabbit were too strong.

The ridges on the shaft were excellent. In fact, the overall feel of the toy inside me was divine. If not for the flimsy functioning of the beads, this toy could produce some top notch orgasms. The form of the shaft was even so delightful that I used the toy without the motor functions on. Since the ears of the rabbit are thicker and the rabbit, itself is positioned at a generous angle, the ears slid around my clit while I thrust the toy in.

Where this toy fails to impress is in the battery pack. The casing isn't strong enough to survive a two foot drop onto a plush carpet floor. And, while the three C batteries provide a nice amount of power to the toy, they are quickly drained of their potency after three good uses. Two additional uses and the batteries are completely dead. On the plus side, while the power slides on the battery pack can be over-responsive (just applying pressure to one of my slides sent my rabbit buzzing to life), the controls were easy to operate and, more importantly, the batteries were in no danger of being damaged by runaway lubricant. I must admit to being slightly skeptical of the integrity of the power cord, though. It pulls easily in and out of the toy and a good drop of the battery pack might lend enough inertia to damage the connection between the pack and the toy.

Overall, Stormy's Pearl Diver was a success for me. It didn't have the bead power I craved, but it made up for it in general design and a very functional rabbit stimulator. If you pick up this one you'll enjoy it immensely, just treat the battery pack gently and make sure you use rechargeable batteries.

I've had this vibe for two months now, and it's still working just as well as it did on day one.  It still guzzles the life out of my batteries and the beads don't have much rotational power, but the vibrations are strong and the shape is perfect for me.

I can see, though, where this vibe might have a low life span if not handled very carefully.  For cleaning, I make sure that my batteries are out (you should be doing this anyhow, but I know a lot of people who find it a bother) and that my battery pack is resting higher than my faucet so that no water can accidentally slide down the cord and into the battery pack.

I scrub the toy with cleaner|Before and after toy cleaner - Sex Toy Cleaners and Wipes using an old toothbrush to make sure I get into the folds on the head of the toy, and then I use a non-fuzzy towel to dry it.  I also find that holding the end of the toy (the part where the cord inserts into the base) with a washcloth helps to keep water from going inside.

This toy remains one of my favorites, though I do tend to think twice before pulling it out because cleaning it is a bother.  Still, it really hits me in the right places so, 9 times out of 10, I'll grumble through the cleaning even though it's a pain.
