Use

I don't know about you, but the original intention of purchasing the iRide was because I thought it would be a cheaper alternative to the more famously known Sybian. Even though I don't own the Sybian (obviously!), I really do believe this is a cheaper alternative that packs a powerful punch for the cheaper price. The iRide offers a hands-free, multiple-vibration experience like no other. It has some of the most intense vibrations I've ever experienced—both in the probe and in the clitoral bump.

Material / Texture

The body of the iRide is made out of firm, smooth plastic. The top of the iRide (probe, bump, and the area surrounding it) is made out of TPR. I'm a little wary of plastic products, and how much weight I was able to put on it was causing me some concern while ordering. Being at 130-150 pounds, the product is more than capable of being able to hold up my weight. The material is odorless, phthalate free, and hypoallergenic. The material cannot be sterilized, so condom use is recommended for sharing or for anal and vaginal penetration. You can use any type of lubricant with the iRide.

Design / Shape / Size

Let me start off by saying that you aren't going to have an easy time trying to find a place to store this big boy! I knew the toy was going to be big, but I was not expecting something like this. The toy is 12 inches long and 6 inches wide with 3 1/2 inches of insertable probe. Overall, it's easy to sit on and get pleasure out of the toy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are two controls for vibrations. One is for the probe, and the other for the clitoral bump. Each control is a little push button that can be hard to control due to how much it is dented into the toy—but it is not all that bothersome. The speeds vary from low to high for both the probe and clitoral bump. The one thing I'm disappointed with is how noisy the iRide is. You definitely want to be the only one home if you plan on using this thing! Other than that, the vibrations are intense and worth buying.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the iRide can be a challenge. The toy is not waterproof, and with a warning not to use the toy in the shower/bath, you better not expose the toy to water. The least expensive (and easiest) way to clean the iRide is to use toy wipes to wash down the material. The only way I can see to store it—for me, at least—is to store it underneath my bed since the toy is so large.

Follow-up commentary
Sadly, this thing takes way to much time and effort to get satisfaction out of it. For the trouble it's worth hiding it and everything, I really wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for the review. I am months into owning this toy and while it is pretty big, it is FAR smaller then things like a Sybian!!! I still enjoy mine and find it fun to "ride" while doing other things with my hubby!!! Worth the money and since no one else is in the home now, noise is not an issue.

  • iRide... can it be used during sex with your partner?
    • I'm having a hard time grasping the dimensions of this product. Would I be able to 'ride' on it while my husband was having anal sex with me? Or is it not shaped right for that?
    • Check out the videos on the product page, they give a better idea of how big it is.
    • I don't think the iRide is well suited for use during anal sex. The curve of the toy would make it difficult to enjoy both its vibration and penetration from a partner. I second Mistress Mandy's suggestion to check out the videos for the product! :)

  • Can This Be Used In Conjunction With Liberator Furniture?
    • Can you put this on the Liberator Stage or use it with the Wedge without it falling off or sliding?

    • Hi guys, I've read a few reviews but haven't found the answer to my question. I apologise in advance if I have overlooked this somewhere, but - does anyone what the weight limit of the iRide is? It looks very sturdy, but I'm still wondering if this is something to worry about.

    • I didn't find any weight specifications on the box, unfortunately. I've used mine several times, and it feels really, really solid. One thing to keep in mind is that you likely won't be balancing 100% of your weight on the toy. If you're sitting on the vibrating parts in the middle, your weight is in the middle, and you're not going to crush through the hard plastic. If you're bracing on the sides of the toy, which I've done, it still feels really solid.

      I weigh between 130 and 140 pounds, and I've tried putting as much weight as I can on the ends/handles/braces of the toy. I couldn't really use the toy in that position, trying to balance on the toy itself, but it held up really well. I didn't feel it bend or move at all. I don't have any guesses about the weight limit or how it would perform for other users, but maybe my experience will help you with your decision. :)

      My husband is lol. He thinks it'd be really hot to watch me use it. I don't know if I am or not, I guess it depends on how well it works. But, I showed my husband and he wants me to order it as soon as it's available lol
