Rigid Ridged Rocker
Ridged Rocker is definitely the right name for this vibe. Made of velvety smooth plastic, it is definitely rigid and can rock your G Spot, if you have the right shape for it. The ridges along the shaft add extra stimulation while thrusting, and the very pronounced curved head can make or break the experience. I would recommend this for more experienced users who like texture and rigidity.Published: October 28, 2010
Pros:
Great texture and material, waterproof, very pronounced head makes great G spot stimulation
Cons:
Hard plastic is not at all flexible, no separate power button.
Use
This little rocker is crafted for G spot stimulation, and does its job. However I would recommend against this for beginners. The extremely curved tip can hook your pubic bone, causing a painful experience if you are not careful. Although this doesn't have a flared base I can see it being a great P spot massager as well, if you are careful with it.
Material/Design
RR is made of solid, smooth plastic so it has quite a bit of drag to it (keeping some lube handy isn’t a bad idea) and lacks flexibility. It is non porous and phthalate-free; compatible with oil, water or silicone based lubes; and cleans up easily with soap and hot water or toy cleaner/ wipes. It can be stored easily and is small enough to be hidden if need be. The curved tip is great for G spot stimulation, and the tapered ridges in the shaft become more pronounced towards the bottom. They add great stimulation to the vaginal walls while thrusting, but might be too pronounced for some. I think this toy is for the more experienced G spot enthusiast, because it is not flexible whatsoever and takes a little bit of maneuvering to get used to.
Size/Functions
The rocker is 7 inches long, with 5 3/4 of that being insertable. It has a diameter of 1 5/8 inches, but as I said before it is not flexible so it makes up for its size in stimulation. It is controlled by a single push button on the bottom of the battery cap/ base, which I personally dislike. It is easy to use where it is located, but you have to cycle through the ten different vibration functions in order to turn it off. Those functions are:
Low, Medium, High steady vibrations
Quick pulsation
Slow escalation
Quick escalation
Another quick pulsation
A mixture of escalation and pulsation
Two more steady pulsation/ escalation combinations
A lot of these feel the same to me, but I don’t really get extra stimulation out of different vibration patterns and functions.
This is waterproof, and held up just fine in the shower. It has an O ring seal to keep the water out and the cap screws on tight so I'm not too worried about getting wet with it.

Experience
My experience with this rocker is mixed. It can feel great if I am in the right mood, but I don't particularly care for hooking my pubic bone in the midst of heavy thrusting. I have a shallow G spot, and I am very easy to please when it comes to vaginal orgasms, but this is just a little too rigid for me. The texture is excellent, and if the tip was more flexible I could see myself getting along with this just fine. The plastic carries the vibrations well which is a good thing, because they aren't the strongest in the bunch. It isn't very loud thankfully, and cannot be heard through covers.
I found that this vibe works best for me lying down with lots of lube. I tried it standing up in the shower and that is when I "hooked" myself. That pronounced head works very well to cup the clitoris, however.
I give it 3 stars for the fact that it is a love/hate thing for me personally, and I wish there was a separate power button.

Follow-up commentary
7 months after original review
I was never able to get over that massive hook in this toy, and it was far too painful to try anything with it- short of laying there like a piece of driftwood. I ended up giving this to someone else because I got sick of it taking up space!

This or something else?

I was originally wanting to buy a dildo this week but now I'm looking at g-spot vibrators and thinking I want this one but I'm unsure because I'm totally inexperienced with anything other than clitoral vibrators. Is this a good choice? Can anyone suggest something better around this price?
ETA: I ended up buying it. Hope I love it. :D -
