I would recommend this vibrator to anyone and everyone. After a year of much use and abuse, it is still working perfectly. My fiance loved this vibrator as soon as she took it out of the box. The jewels placed along the base of the vibrator give a very "girly" feel. This is a good thing because if you want to try and introduce your girlfriend to the idea of using toys this is a great vibrator to start with since it is not intimidating.

Jenna's velvet jewels is made completely out of plastic. The safety features that come with this vibrator are that it is hypoallergenic and latex free (that means if you have an allergic reaction to latex you can safely use this toy). It is also phthalates free, which means that Doc Johnson didn't put toxic chemical softeners in this product. Since this toy is plastic, it is non-porous. You can easily sterilize this with soap and hot water. Our vibrator had no smell when we took it out of the box. My fiance said that it had no taste as well. I'll take her word on that!

Jenna's velvet jewels feel like just that, velvet. We were both pleasantly surprised to feel such a softness on a plastic vibrator. Jenna's jewels has a total length of 6 1/2" but only has an insertable length of 5 1/2". It has a diameter of 1 1/4" with a circumference of 4". 0.3 pounds is the weight of the vibrator, which isn't much at all. While we have not traveled with it, I would think you could hide this vibrator very easily.

The design of this vibrator is a very well thought out one. The base and tip of the vibrator are thicker than the middle. My fiance thought the vibrator went in very easily and brought her extreme pleasure when used vaginally and rubbed on her clit. I would not recommend this toy for anal play because it does not have a flared base.

I do have two complaints about this toy. The first complaint that I have, and this was a concern of mine when purchasing the toy, is the jewels. I knew that they would eventually start to fall off. It took about 10 months for the jewels to show wear and start to fall off the vibrator. They broke off, some all in one piece and other little pieces of the jewel cracked. My second complaint about this toy is the base of the vibrator. The base that has the controls for speed has started to become loose in the past month. You can shake the vibrator and the base moves around a good amount. My fiance was upset because she knows it's at the end of it's life. The only good thing is for 18 dollars we got a year of enjoyment and pleasure out of this vibrator. That's much longer than we had both expected!

The vibrations on this are very enjoyable. For a man, at a low enough speed, this can produce a great feeling if placed on your balls. An issue I do have with the controls on the vibrator is the dial at the base for speed. My advice to any future owners, REMOVE your batteries once you're done playing. This vibrator has turned on multiple times and twice led to some very embarrassing incidents. One moment you'll be sitting there having a great time with friends, the next second you'd swear a hive of bees were behind your head. It only takes two seconds to pop out the batteries and will make sure no embarrassing incident occurs! Also your batteries will last much longer. I cannot name how many times our batteries went dead because the vibrator turned on slightly, not enough to hear it buzzing but enough to kill our batteries overnight.

This vibrator is incredibly easy to clean. You can clean it up with just soap and hot water! If you use this toy for anal and vaginal use or share with your partner I highly recommend using a condom to prevent the risk of spreading any diseases. Also, this vibrator does not collect lint or any type of fur from any fuzzy critters you may own!

Our overall experience with this vibrator has been awesome. Yes, the jewels have started to fall off after a year and the base is becoming loose. I didn't expect this vibrator to even last a couple months due to it being under 20 dollars. To our surprise this vibrator is still going after a year and I see it still working for at least another 6 months before we decide to remove it from our toy box. When we do finally put it to rest I will be ordering another!
