I was excited to get the Royal Surfer in the mail, as I'd never tried a rabbit-style vibrator before, and was curious. That it was apparently endorsed by Sue Johanson was also a plus. After giving it a good wash with warm water and soap, I let it air out for a little while; the Surfer had an odd smell, perhaps from being in plastic packaging for a while. The battery arrangement for the Royal Surfer is nice, with a little "column" that comes out; no batteries rolling away! It was larger than any toy I've ever tried, so I used plenty of water-based lubricant (no silicone lube on this!). The large head of the vibrator fit VERY nicely against my g-spot!

The Royal Surfer has two functions: it rotates and vibrates, with three speeds for each function. The rotating was nice moving around and around inside of me, and I tried both the clockwise and counter-clockwise settings - both of them were definitely shiver-inducing! By the time I got the dolphin to start vibrating, I was already a very happy reviewer, and the clitoral stimulation just made it better! Some of the noise seems to be connected to the fact that the dolphin can "move" a little; pushing its base against the shaft seems to help quiet it down, but it's a definite distraction.

Given how good it feels this is definitely a sex toy I'll keep around - but I'll be making sure the door is shut and I'm under several blankets before I turn it up!
