EZ-bend bounding bunny - rabbit vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Lover

I really wanted to like this vibrator. I was impressed that California Exotic has responded to demand for more body friendly materials by making some phthalate-free "jelly" toys.

But, sadly, the "bounding bunny" has is just not that awesome. Or, at least the unit I've received to review seems to have a fatal flaw. It only runs for about 5 minutes before it just sort of fades out and dies. Which, for me is just about when I am really starting to get into the swing of things and enjoy myself.

The first time this happened, I assumed that the batteries I used were bad. But, no. I switched to new batteries. Nothing. I tested all the batteries on the boyfriend's battery tester. They were fine. Later I tried again with the original batteries, and the toy worked great. For about five minutes. Than it fizzled and died, again.

My best guess is that the motor is overheating. Once it cools down it works just fine again. That is until it overheats again 5-10 minutes later. This, as I am sure you can imagine, is rather frustrating.

Personally, if I were you, I would stop reading right here. But, if you really want to know more about a toy that doesn't actually really work, read on. I am going to give a brief description.

For the short periods of time that this vibrator actually functions, it is pretty perfectly middle of the road. On the plus side, it is a decently strong vibrator with 10 vibrational patterns, it has a dedicated on/off switch, it's waterproof and the material is soft, but phthalate free. The main shaft can be bent in a variety of angles, and stays that way, so you can probably adjust it to hit just the right spot without too much effort.

On the minus side, it has only one vibration speed, which I personally thought was a pretty decent intensity level, but it's always nice to have options. Sometimes you want to warm up a little, or you need that extra burst to push you over the edge. The vibration patterns are pretty generic as is the overall design, size, appearance and packaging.

Aside from the propensity to up and die, this toy is perfectly nice. But, it really doesn't distinguish itself from a whole pack of similar products. If you luck into a unit that works well, it's perfectly possible that it would provide you with many happy orgasms. Then again it might die after five minutes.

The Bounding Bunny runs on three AAA batteries. The phthalate-free PVC shouldn't have any negative interactions with any type of lube, and the fact that it is waterproof and submersible means it is easy to clean with soap and water.
