Satin - traditional vibrator by Vibratex - review by Autumn Ryder

It has been ages since I bought my last toy, so when the package arrived with my Satin vibrator I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I opened it up and took a minute to enjoy that familiar "new toy" smell. Wow! Toys have come a long way.

When they said it was one of the most realistic feeling toys on the market, they weren't kidding! I couldn't get over how real it felt. I even made my husband feel it a few times as I stared at it in awe. I also noticed that the Satin is very well made; it has a good sturdy construction that I think will last for a long time.

I was ready to give it a test drive. My husband didn't want to miss out on this, so off to the bedroom we went. The trial run didn't go so smoothly. This toy is actually larger than it seems. The bulbed head makes it a much thicker toy than I thought it was. My husband had some trouble maneuvering it, and it ended up rotating in the base rather than the head.

He concluded that it was too big and quickly gave up on it. I was not ready to give up on it, however, so I would just have to wait until he was out of the house.

I was ready for round two, and there would be no jealous parties present this time. I took my time and made sure that I was "ready" for it this time. I flicked on the vibration, which was surprisingly quiet. I used the vibration setting for a little prep work and slowly made my way in. While it was vibrating away, I gradually turned on the rotation. This is where the thickness of the head works its magic. It certainly hit all the right spots! Within no time I was enjoying it over and over again.

I was a little disappointed by the power of this toy--I had it all the way up on the highest setting and would have liked it a little stronger. Also, the power switch, while very easy to use in the act, is a little too sensitive. I actually had the batteries die on me because it must have turned on in my night stand when I closed the drawer. Dead batteries are such a disappointment.

Overall I had a great experience with the Satin. It is a high quality, well made and fairly quiet toy. I would definitetly recommend the Satin vibrator to anyone, but I would hesitate to get it as a first toy. This toy seems much better suited for someone with experience, who is looking for a good addition to their collection. It certainly has a new place in mine!
