This toy was definitely designed
They say that the difference between theory and practice is that, in theory, there's no difference. The
Scorpion looks like it'll get the job done, but in practice, it falls far short.
The vaguely menacing look of the toy is part of its appeal. Mine is purple with blue heads, so it has a bit less of a poisonous appearance about it, but the angle of the two shafts, the vibrator, the texture of the vaginal shaft, all join to promote the expectation of a very enjoyable ride. I'd been looking for a two-pronged toy for a while, and this one seemed like it would fit the bill. I anticipated plunging those thick beads in and out of me, while drawing the anal shaft out to the head and thrusting it back in, feeling the vibration in both my passages at once.
While the texture of the Scorpion is firm, however, the shafts themselves aren't. I had a little trouble getting the anal shaft inserted. Not because of its size, which is fairly thin and small, but because it was so bendy that it was difficult to guide in. The longer vaginal shaft has to be inserted first, due to the shape of the toy, and that left me pressing it up inside me at awkward angles to try to get the anal half positioned. I had to reach down and guide it in with my fingers, and at first I ended up with more me than toy penetrating my ass. The heads are slight enough that it did slide in smoothly, once I got past the blind alignment issue, but then Scorpion only fell short again. I realized that the bumped texture on the vaginal shaft, which had been such a selling point, was useless to me, since as soon as I started to move the toy slightly to take advantage of that texture, the rear shaft that I'd struggled to put in place, popped right out. The size is probably good for beginners -- about as long and thick as two fingers, and I have smaller than average hands -- but I'm not an anal beginner, and I found it to be lacking in length, width and definition. I could feel that something was in there, but it wasn't enough, and without being able to move it around, I couldn't make it be enough.
The Scorpion's vibration isn't super strong, but it's present equally in both shafts. However, that's all the toy had going for it, for me. It was hard to insert, I found the rear shaft a bit lacking once it was in, and I couldn't maneuver it to take advantage of its texture. About all I could do with it was get it in place and wriggle around a little, and that wasn't enough. I'd had high hopes for this toy, and was disappointed that it didn't live up to my expectations.
An anal beginner, using this toy with a partner, might enjoy Scorpion's buzz when supplemented with clitoral stimulation or other teasing, but don't expect much of a sting.
This toy has always intrigued me, it's too bad the actual implementation doesn't work very well. Sounds like the anal side needs to be changed to make it a little easier to keep in, maybe if they started with a slightly larger head that slowly tapered to a thinner neck and used a stiffer material to make it easier to insert... Great review!
a bit less of a poisonous appearance about it
Haha, yes, the red does make it look poisonous. Doesn't help that it's named Scorpion!
I've thought about getting a dual penetration vibrator, but was always afraid they wouldn't work very well. I might try one later, but I think for now I'll just stick to my butt plug and my Sinnflut. This toy did look to be the better option of these types of vibrators too, oh well. Better luck next time.
Too bad it doesn't have a clitoral stimulator to keep you from having to move it around so much. Good review--this toy looks like it would be much more effective than it apparently is!
That's disappointing- the design of this toy does look a lot more promising than many dual penetration products.
It's porous, so use condoms if sharing!
