Sexy and Eco-Friendly

This is a great eco-friendly toy. It has multiple settings making it great for beginners and more advanced users. The solar panel does feel as though if you dropped it, it would break. Over all, this is a great product at a good price... and doesn't need to be plugged in or need batteries.

Use

The Solar Bullet is 2 1/4 inches in length and 1/2 inch in diameter. It is about the size of a standard bullet. This is a really great toy for stimulation with a lot of different speed options due to the slide bar control. It's great to stimulate the clitoris, nipples and penis. I personally wouldn't use this for anal stimulation seeing as you can't completely sterilize it. This toy is great for both beginners and more advanced users. It is small enough to stick in a purse, so it's great for travel and not needing batteries is a plus. You let the solar panel charge for 8 hours and it will allow for 60 mins of play with the bullet. The solar panel is also universal. You can use it with other bullets that have the same headphone type of jack. The Solar Bullet is great for partner sex. It's small enough that it can fit between two bodies with ease.

Material / Texture

I got the black Solar Bullet. It is made of a hard plastic that is velvety and smooth to the touch. The velvety texture helps stimulate by adding a little bit of friction. There is no odor or taste to this tiny vibe. The Solar Bullet can be easily used by both beginners and advanced users.

Design / Shape / Size

The Solar Bullet has your typical bullet shape. It has a rounded head and is straight down to the base of the bullet. My husband and I love this bullet. It's super easy to use and it doesn't eat our batteries. We can also leave it hooked up to the solar panel and not have to worry about corrosion or damage to the bullet, which is nice. We also liked the fact that you can use it for a more slow and sensuous play or an intense take me now type of play. It has become one of our favorite toys. It is very easy to travel with, just put in a small cloth bag and put it in your purse or bag. This is probably too big to fit in a pocket, and it can't be concealed by closing your hand around it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Solar Bullet has a nice slide bar control to control the intensity of the toy. It goes from low to high. Low is about a maximum low setting and high is pretty intense, at least it was for me. The packaging says nothing about the Solar Bullet being waterproof, so I would stay away from water with this bullet. I really wish that this was waterproof because it would make for a great shower companion if it was. The Solar Bullet isn't the quietest toy that I have ever heard. The sound can't be drowned out by thick blankets... it will still be heard. But if used for camping or something of that magnitude, you should be okay if you were camping in a different tent. This can't be heard through a closed door. The vibrations are concentrated on the head of the bullet but you can feel them extremely well throughout the entire bullet.

The Solar Bullet can be charged using natural sunlight or using household light. It has a flashlight type light at the tip of the vibe that turns on when you turn on the bullet. There isn't a way to turn off this light. I found the light to be a little distracting, as did my husband. The solar panel has a nice little blue button on it to indicate when it is in enough light to charge. Which is very nice because you never have to try and guess if your solar panel is charging because if it's charging, the blue light on the side of the panel will be lit up.

Care and Maintenance

The Solar Bullet is pretty easy to care for. Where it isn't waterproof, you need to be very careful not to get water in the bullet or on the solar panel. To clean this toy, I used a toy cleaner wipe. It seemed to be the safest option so as to not damage the bullet. I then found a small cloth bag to store the bullet and solar panel in. The packaging isn't a practical place to store this. It is cardboard and offers no padding to the solar panel. We used a water based lube with the Solar Bullet, but you can use any lube with it.

    • Easy to store

Packaging

The packaging is pretty minimal. It comes in a cardboard box with a picture of the Solar Bullet on it and it has some leaves printed on it. Where it does picture the toy, it isn't the most discreet packaging. The box is eco-friendly as well and can be recycled. The box is okay as a gift... it isn't overly attractive but would still make a great eco-friendly gift. Inside the box, the solar panel is just stuck in the bottom of the box, so it does get banged around and it slides around in there... there is nothing holding it in place. The bullet is stuck through some cardboard to keep it in place.

Personal comments

I did feel that the solar panel was made of a very cheap grade of plastic. It kind of feels like if it gets dropped that it will fall apart.
Follow-up commentary
This is a great novelty toy, but it broke after a couple months of use. I am happy that I bought the toy, because otherwise I would have spent forever wondering what it was like. It was a great toy while it lasted.

    Shame that it broke.

I just bought it 50% off with gift card so if it breaks on me it won't be a huge loss... I just want to see if I can find something that will sub for my favorite bullets, the battery guzzlers they are...
