The Wisper Tranquility is a nice vibrator for foreplay and to enhance your arousal during intercourse. However, this little device, although sexy in appearance, lacks alot. For someone looking for a vibrator to use for masturbation, you might wanna look elsewhere. This little baby may pack a nice punch, but it won't send you screaming for more.

I was really excited about trying the Wisper Tranquility, so I didn't wait to give it a whirl. It took some time to figure out how to get the device to work; it wasn't the issue of finding the power button or how to open it, it was figuring out why it wouldn't work. After a few tries, and making sure I had fresh batteries, I determined that you must really tighten the cap back on after installing the batteries. Don't get me wrong, I had the cap tight. I guess I just didn't have it tight enough. If you find that the device does not work, just give the end an extra twist to secure the cap in place.

The Whisper Tranquility is made of ABS plastic, which is a hard, non-porous type of plastic that is also hypo-allergenic and phthalates free. This vibe has no odor and is smooth.

I really enjoy having rough sex, although my husband prefers the opposite. This vibe allowed me to satisfy this preference since I could really thrust it into me without worrying about it going limp (sorry hubby!). It's also great when you bare down with it on your clit while the vibrations are going.

Because this vibe is so smooth, you do not need any lube. However, for someone like me that likes things a little wet, a drop of lube on this baby will have it gliding all over your clit and may increase your arousal.

The length is 6" and is 1.5" in diameter (at the largest part, which is the head of the vibe). To compare the size to an item, the length is roughly the size of an average female hand. The diameter is the size of a machine gumball.

The vibe takes 2 AAA batteries, which are inserted using a small, white carrier. To insert the batteries, you will screw off the end of the vibrator (where the power button is located), remove the carrier, insert the batteries and put the carrier back into the vibrator. Be sure to have the flat end of the batteries facing outward. Once the batteries are in, screw on the cap tight.

The appearance of the Whisper Tranquility is really nice. The black version is shiny and has two sliver bands towards the power button. There is a head on this vibrator, which mimics a penis. After the head, the vibe gradually becomes larger and then drops to a smaller size. This is the second ridge. From that point on, the vibe increases in diameter and then becomes straight.

The power button is located on the end of the vibe and is made of a rubber-like material.

The Whisper Tranquility has three settings: mild, medium and maximum. The first setting, mild, is really weak. You can barely feel the vibrations unless you touch the tip of the vibe. In the first setting, it is really loud. There is a rattling sound, which is probably the carrier being shaken inside.

The second setting, medium, is a little stronger. With this setting, the rattling is gone and the normal buzzing sound returns that is present in many vibrators. The buzzing is a little loud though, so it would be hard to lay next to your sleeping spouse and play without him hearing it. Well, that is .. unless your spouse is like mine; mine could sleep through an atomic bomb.

The last setting, maximum, is the best when it comes to this vibrator. The head of the vibrator vibrates really good, but it isn't really strong. The vibrations do not spread out through the shaft, which is a disapppointment for internal stimulation.

I'm not really pleased with the preformance of this vibe, as I like a little more power behind mine. It would be great for a beginner though.

Since this vibe is waterproof, a quick rinse with soap and water will work. Make sure you dry the vibe off before putting it away. Also, I always take out the batteries before I store them in my toy case.

After I got the vibe working, I settled in for a little alone time with it.

I used a little lube, and started the vibe on the first setting, which was a mild vibration. Now that I think of it, you wouldn't really need any lube because the sleek surface of the vibe. Anyways, the first setting (mild) is rather weak. You can't feel much on the shaft, as the majority of the vibrations center on the head. Also, the first vibration has a rattling sound to it, instead of your typical "zzzrrooommm" sound.

I immediately skipped the second setting and went for the maximum one. I needed more power and hoped that this baby would deliver. The third setting, which is the maximum vibration setting for the Whisper Tranquility, is great for clitorial stiumlation but still too light for internal play. I really enjoyed this vibe the most by making small circular patterns directly above my clit and then slipping down into my vagina and giving it a few thrusts. I was able to orgasm fairly quickly when I kept that pattern up.
