Doc Johnson’s Silent Vibrations is a vibrator designed to stimulate the G-spot. I had never seen it before as I looked through G-spot vibrators. It is an overlooked toy and so I decided to review it. I was surprised that it is a top 10 rated G-spot toy, yet it only had 2 reviews on it. I though why not give it a try?

Although Silent Vibrations was powerful enough for me internally and externally, I found the vibrations too rumbly for my taste. Plus, the design is a little too bulky. I think it looks old school. It looks like Doc Johnson hasn’t redesigned this in a few years. Plus, when I looked at the product page, I had thought it was much smaller.

I would recommend this to users who love really deep rumbly vibrations. It is pretty big in size. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this toy. It’s too bulky and not the prettiest toy in the world. Plus, it's not waterproof.

Silent Vibrations is made out of plastic, a relatively safe material. It rates an eight out of ten on Eden Fantasy’s safety scale. It is hypoallergenic, latex, and phthalates free. It is very smooth and has no texture whatsoever. It is very hard and has no give or flexibility to it. There is one seam on the toy, but I didn’t feel it during use. There is a little drag to Silent Vibrations. Like most vibrators, I suggest using a lubricant to make play time easier. Thankfully, it doesn’t attract any hair or lint like silicone does. There was no odor to this vibrator.

Silent Vibrations is designed like most G-spot vibrators. It has a curved top that looks a hook to help stimulate the G-spot. It is 6 ½” in length with an insertable length of 5”. It’s a fairly thick toy with a circumference of 5 ½” and a diameter of 1 ¾”. It is fairly heavy at .4 pounds. I personally find it really bulky for my taste. I prefer slimmer G-spot vibes.



It is a very effective design and the bigger vibrator will work for most. Since this vibrator is on the bigger side, I recommend it for average to advanced users.

Since this toy is on the bigger side, it isn’t a great vibe to travel with. You can certainly hide it easily though.

Silent Vibrations is powered by a spin dial located on the bottom of the toy. It’s a different type of dial. Most dials turn the whole bottom of the vibrator. Silent Vibrations has a little wheel that is located in the middle of the toy. You simply turn the dial to turn the toy on. Although the dial is easy to use, it can turn on easily if you don’t take the batteries out between uses. I usually write my reviews with the vibrator next to me. I’ve had Silent Vibrations next to me on my desk and I keep accidentally turning it on. Also, I found the placement of the dial made it hard to operate. I had to take the toy out to turn the wheel.



Silent Vibrations is powered by 3 AA batteries. This is partly why this toy is so bulky. I was surprised to learn that it took that many batteries. To put the batteries in, simply open the compartment and place the batteries in the holder. I use rechargeable batteries and they fit into the slots. It was a tight fit, but I got each to go in.



Since it’s powered by 3 batteries, it is fairly strong. I would rate it 4 vrooms out of 5. It’s not the most powerful vibe I’ve tried, but it is strong. Its vibrations are really deep and rumbly. When you turn the toy on, it literally shakes in your hand. It’s a little hard to hold since it vibrates so deep. The vibrations are found throughout the toy, but are mainly found at the top. Although Silent Vibrations is designed as a G-spot toy, it’s pointed top can also be used to stimulate the clitoris.

For a toy that is called Silent Vibrations, you would expect this vibrator to be, well, silent. Now, sure it’s not the loudest vibrator in the world but it is quite loud. It could definitely be heard through covers. I couldn’t hear it through my door, but if yours is thin enough you may be able to.

Silent Vibrations is not waterproof, so be careful when cleaning. I still like to clean mine in warm water and soap. I make sure to wash the body of the vibrator, but I avoid the bottom compartment. If you don’t want to risk it, just use a wet wipe.

Since this is plastic, you can use a silicone or water based lubricant. I store my vibrators in small plastic bags.

Silent Vibrations is packaged in a see through plastic box. It’s definitely not discreet!



I love the back of the package. It says, “experience the purr of a tiger, not the whine of a kitty”. This statement made me laugh! It’s funny what some companies write on their packages.



The package doesn’t list too many instructions. It does say not to use this vibrator in water.

I'm rating Silent Vibrations three stars out of five. It is fairly powerful and could work for a lot of people. However, I'd personally rather buy a G-spot vibrator that looks more modern and that has a better control system. Plus, it would be nice if it were waterproof.

I found the best way to use Silent Vibrations is to insert it and let it sit on your G-spot. It's not really a toy that you can thrust with because it is on the bigger side. I definitely could feel Silent Vibrations stimulating my G-spot. I had that 'I need to pee feeling'. Unfortunately, my G-spot has been on strike for a while so I didn't orgasm from it. I also used this vibrator on my clitoris and was successful. However, its deep and rumble vibrations are felt better internally than on your clitoris. I do wish that the controls were easier to use.
