You cannot use the Vr5.5 during charging. It will not urn on.

The motors will shut off when the battery needs recharged. There is a minimal loss of power prior to the shut off.

Do NOT over heat your motors!! This will shorten the longevity of your Vr5.5, making your investment more costly. When the motor gets overheated, the friction and heat can warp and damage moving pieces. This will kill the motor eventually.
