Skip This Rabbit!

I love rabbit-styled vibrators. However I wouldn't recommend this rabbit because I found a lot I didn't like about it. There isn't a very powerful vibration, the shaft is like someone banging on your vagina, and the rabbit ears are not firm enough to give good pressure to achieve orgasm. Even though it's inexpensive, I would suggest that you pay another twenty bucks and buy a better quality rabbit vibrator. I probably won't be using it again.

Use

The Power Jumper by California Exotics is a rabbit vibrator designed to stimulate the clitoris and G-spot. This toy definitely works better as a clitoris stimulator, but only if you don't need much power or pressure to achieve orgasm. For me, I need alot of power and a harder material. It took very long on the highest setting for me to achieve orgasm.

This toy is waterproof so it can be used in the shower which is cool. The TPR material is much safer than jelly, which is a big plus for those of you who are wary of jelly. I definitely believe that this rabbit is more suited for a beginner's collection rather than a veteran's. If you never tried a rabbit vibrator this may be for you. However, I suggest that you spend a little more money and buy a better quality rabbit.

Material / Texture

One great feature of this rabbit is its material. Most rabbits are made of jelly which isn't very safe for use without a condom. This rabbit is made out of plastic and TPR material, which has a safety scale of 7 where jelly is around a 2. It certainly makes me more reassured when using it. The other great thing about the Power Jumper is that it has no odor. Most rabbits smell terrible because of the jelly. This rabbit however has no smell whatsoever! That made me really happy when I opened the package.

The only downside when using TPR material is that the rabbit isn't as soft as jelly. For me, jelly has more of a soft and lifelike feel than TPR or plastic. However, the safety and odorless aspect of this rabbit matter more to me. TPR is still soft to the touch, just a little tougher than jelly. The material is soft enough to bend very easily. I think the rabbit can fit most because of its flexibility. I took a picture to demonstrate how much it can bend. There isn't a whole lot of texture on the Power Jumper. There are a few bumps on the shaft, but the overall toy is mostly smooth. If you don't like a lot of texture, that's a plus. It's definitely easy to insert because it's very smooth.

Design / Shape / Size

The Power Jumper is designed like any other traditional rabbit vibrator. However, I think it lacks something in the shaft and rabbit ear design. The overall shape of the rabbit isn't really a problem... it's when you get into the specific aspects that made the rabbit unenjoyable for me.

The main aspect of the Power Jumper that disappointed me were the ears. I love the rabbit design so much because the position of the rabbit ears offers amazing clitoral stimulation. The ears are a very important aspect of the rabbit for me. The ears on the Power Jumper are too thin and made out of a much thinner TPR than the rest of the toy. I like rabbit ears to be much firmer, so there is more pressure during use. These ears are really flimsy. It took me a lot longer to achieve orgasm because the ears are too thin. However, the rabbit is very bendable so I'm confident that it can reach most clits.

The shaft on the power jumper was the most intense shaft vibration I have ever felt... and not in a good way! I turned it on and it literally felt like someone was taking a hammer and smashing it into my vagina. I could only stand the agony for a few seconds and then I turned it off. In my opinion, whoever designed the rabbit didn't do a great job. The beads bang pretty far outside of the material. It is not a small subtle movement. I didn't enjoy it, and I'm used to intense shafts. I just don't think it's very well-made in general because of the inexpensive price.

The size of the vibrator isn't very intimidating. It is fairly average in size with a diameter of 1 1/4". It would be great for those who prefer a smaller rabbit and a safer material.

Since the whole rabbit is fairly bulky, I wouldn't really travel with it. It's not very discreet.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The functions of the Power Jumper are disappointing. Normally with rabbits there are at least three settings: light, medium and the more intense vibrations. Normally I best achieve orgasm with the highest setting. This toy only has two options for vibration: low or high. The low setting is quite low but the high setting feels like a regular rabbit's middle setting. The low setting feels very light, like a feather's touch, where the high setting feels a little more powerful but not much more.

The vibrations added to my frustration while trying to reach orgasm. If there had been a higher vibration setting I would have been much more satisfied with this toy. If you are someone who only needs light vibration to achieve orgasm, then the Power Jumper could work well for you.

When you turn the shaft on, the beads rotate pretty fast around. The beads are located right above the rabbits ears on the shaft. The shaft doesn't vibrate at all, just spins the beads. The shaft only has two settings which is very unusual, considering that most toys of this type have at least three. You can only turn the shaft on and then reverse the direction of the beads. There's only one mode of power, so it's either a hit or miss if you like the power of the shaft or not. The shaft's aim is to stimulate the G-spot. It didn't really work for me because I found the shaft too strong. If it were less intense and it vibrated I would like it better. If you like only beads rotating and a very strong rotation then this may work for you.

Both of these functions combined with the thin ears left me very frustrated. It took much longer than normal for me to achieve orgasm. I got kind of bored with it. Needless to say, I probably won't be using it again.

The controls are located on the bottom of the toy. There are four buttons to control the toy. One to turn on/off the vibration, one to spin the shaft, one to reverse the direction of the shaft and the last button is hi/lo for the vibrations. I don't like controls on the bottom of a toy normally because it is hard to remember and locate the correct buttons. I normally have to play around with the buttons to figure out which is which.

I think that buttons on the front would have made this toy much more convenient. Also, there is not a clear on/off switch. You have to undo all the buttons you pressed to turn it off.

Also, this toy is pretty noisy if you are using vibration and rotation at the same time. If you only use vibration, it's not that loud. However, the shaft makes a lot of noise so I wouldn't advise it for those of you who need quiet toys.

Care and Maintenance

Since this toy is waterproof it's very easy to clean. You don't have to worry about getting it wet so you can just wash it in warm water with some soap. Caring for it is definitely easy. It does attract lint very easily so I would store it in something that's covered. You can store it in a box or whatever you normally use. Since it's made of TPR you can use whichever lube you would like to.

The Power Jumper takes 4 AA batteries. I only wanted to use it once so I can't tell if it eats batteries or not. Either way, I would recommend you get rechargeable batteries so you don't have to worry about throwing away a bunch of batteries. It's good to save the environment.

Packaging

The toy is packaged in a cardboard box pictured below. At the top of the box it says "Take me home!" I found that funny. You can see the toy through the plastic window. It doesn't offer any user's information but it's pretty self-explanatory. I wouldn't use it to re-gift though as the rabbit is pictured all over the box.

Personal comments

Although this rabbit didn't work for me, it could work for you. If you like light stimulation and a strong shaft motion then this could definitely work for you. I just think a better quality rabbit would work better for most.
Follow-up commentary
Out of all the rabbits I own, I probably hate this one the most. I just think if you spend an extra $20 you can get a better quality rabbit. Needless to say, I haven't used it since I wrote the review. I do own a lot of rabbits, so I admit I am a bit of a rabbit snob.

Good review and your pictures were great. I have a comment, however. You said you were happy about the material and listed it as a "safe material" in the pros. Being better than jelly does not a safe toy make. Don't get me wrong. It's good that it's better than jelly but that doesn't mean it's a safe toy. It is STILL porous and you should STILL use a condom with it if you plan on sharing it because it IS porous and it WILL absorb nasties. Plus, it can't be disinfected so no cleaning method will get all of the "bad" stuff out. The only materials that can truly be called safe are silicone, metal, glass, and the like. This is a "safer" toy as far as cheap rabbits go but there are plenty of silicone rabbits out there that are truly safe and should be the only ones to be called such (as well as the one glass rabbit I saw). Overall, good job on the review. Just watch how you word things because it can give uneducated readers a false understanding.

Oh, and you can't use "whatever lube you want". TPR is not compatible with oil lubricant, though a female should never use oil lubricant, anyway.

I have yet to find a clitoral attachment I really like on a rabbit. The lot of them seem to be marginal at best, like the floppy ears on this one...
