Sultry slims - g-spot vibrator by NMC Ltd - review by Sam (aka Jul!a)

Sultry Slims is designed for use as a G-spot stimulator, but can also be used for stimulating the clit, nipples, or just about any other erogenous zone that you would want pinpoint stimulation for. Its smaller girth makes it ideal for beginners just starting to experiment with g-spotting, but the curves of the shaft will work well for an advanced user looking for something a little 'less threatening.'

Slim is made of hard plastic and silicone. The battery cap located at the end of the toy is the hard plastic, and the rest of the toy is a soft and velvety silicone that is hypoallergenic and phthalates free. The silicone shaft isn't as plush or forgiving as some other toys, and when you squeeze it you won't really see a noticeable give to it, however it's still got enough give that you won't have to worry about it feeling bigger than it actually is.

The texture of the material itself is very smooth, with a good amount of a drag to it that will go away with lube.

Slim is a grand total 8" long with just about 6 1/4" being insertable. The tip of the shaft curves upwards for g-spot stimulation. Along the rest of the shaft are a few bulges that give it the look of having a handhold for a smaller hand. The smallest circumference on the shaft is 3 1/2" and around the bulges just add an extra 1/4" to the circumference.

The girth of the shaft is ideal for beginners, but advanced users who are looking for a smaller shaft will enjoy it as well.

Slim is pretty obvious as to what his purpose is, don't leave him out if you don't want to get discovered.

To start using Slim, you have to first unscrew the battery cap and insert 2 AA batteries, pointy side down. Once you screw the battery cap back on, you're ready to go. There are 10 different 'rhythms' that can be accessed in order by first pressing the power button (the one closest to the base of the toy) and then cycled through by pressing the button right above that that looks like it has a pulse. If you want to turn the vibrations off at any time, just press the power button again. Turning it back on again will start the vibrations again in whatever 'rhythm' that was next in line, unless you remove the batteries while the toy is off, then it will start again on the first setting.

The vibrations are located in the top 2 1/2" of the shaft and are of a medium pitched, hummy variety. On the highest setting, they will be enough to make fingers go numb, and can cause the itchy sensations that some people don't like. As for noise, Slim isn't all that loud. Under the blankets behind a closed door, you'd have to be standing with your ear to the door and listening for it to hear it.

The 10 different settings go something like this:
1. High vibrating
2. Medium vibrating
3. Low vibrating
4. Step - a steppy jump from low-med-high
5. Hi-Lo - a steady pulsing between low and high
6. Dip - a steady high vibration with pulse-like dips down to low
7. High pulse - pulsing vibrations on the high setting
8. High steeplechase - on low with rhythmic jumps to high
9. Low steeplechase - on high with rhythmic jumps to low
10. Low pulse - pulsing vibrations on the low setting

The front of the package claims that Slim is guaranteed waterproof, but a disclaimer on the side states that it is only waterproof in a shower like setting, and not intended for full submersion. So far, Slim has held up in my shower.

Caring for Slim will be pretty easy. First, make sure that the battery compartment is always closed completely before cleaning. If you don't you could get water inside, and that would be bad.

To clean the silicone shaft, you can use a toy cleaner, wipe down with a 10% bleach solution, or wash it in the sink with some warm water and antibacterial soap. If you're sharing Slim at all, you should still use a condom as there is no way to make sure that he's completely sterile without ruining the electronics inside.

Make sure to always use a water based lube with Slim, as the properties that make silicone lube liquidy can do the same thing to Slim.

While Slim has a good deal of silicone, he's actually not a lint magnet. However I would still recommend keeping him in a storage pouch or even in the box he came in.

The packaging that Slim comes in looks like it would be right at home in your local adult store. It's all mostly clear plastic, with lots of writing all over the place. The front tells you what you have, what it's made of, and how long it is. One side tells you how to tell if a product is 100% silicone in 6 different languages, the other gives you all the disclaimers the same 6 languages. The back gives you a rundown of the different vibration settings, tells you how to properly install the batteries, and how to avoid battery leakage, and tells you that this packaging has to be kept since it contains important information.

Open the top of the package and Slim comes out in a plastic tray. Underneath the plastic tray is a little pamphlet on battery installation that won't do you any good, as you're supposed to pick your style and install the batteries accordingly, and your style doesn't appear on the diagram.

Please don't use Slim anally. He doesn't have a flared base and while yes, you might be fine, it's just best not to take that risk.

I'm still trying to decide if it's just the specific toy I have, or if it's a problem with the design itself, but my steady vibrations have physical and audible dips in strength and volume. If it's something with the design and every toy has this, then I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than use as a dildo for g-spotting. It did work well at that, but when I was trying to use the vibrations and I was almost to where I wanted to be, it would start to waver, and I would lose the moment. It was very frustrating.

From my personal experience with this specific toy, I'd give it 2 1/2 stars. But I'm not everybody, and I'm fairly picky. For the toy in general, 3 stars if the issue with the vibrations affect every toy, 4 if it was just mine.
