Slim Stabby Fun?

While the Shiny G is not the best vibrator in the world of vaginal use, it is decent for clitoral stimulation. The cock ring is completely useless for clitoral stimulation and you would be better off just buying something like the Candy G-spot Vibe instead as it is the same exact vibrator without the crappy cock ring.

Use

The Shiny G is a good g-spot vibrator for those who are not as sensitive internally and do not need a lot of girth. It is slim, hard, and has a pointy tip where the g-spot stimulation would be. Beginners may also like this as it is thin and made of a semi-safe material. The cock ring that it comes with is only good for use with this toy or one of a similar size. If you try to put it on your boyfriend, it will be uncomfortably restrictive, if you can even get it on him. It is not waterproof so your only major restriction is that it can't go in the shower/tub/pool. You can take it with you anywhere else you want to.

Personally, I feel this is best used as a clitoral stimulator. I would not suggest using it for anal, but should you choose to, make sure you keep a good grip on it and be sure to use the cock ring. The cock ring will help to give a stopping point for it so that it does not get sucked in.

Material / Texture

The cock ring is made out of a soft squishy material which is not stated. It could be anything from a jelly to a TPR or TPE. As such it has the tendency to attract dust, hair, and things of the sort. I would not say that it is sticky per say, but it can be tacky at times. The tackiness of it leads me to the impression that it is made of a jelly like material.

The vibrator itself is made out of a hard plastic which has a pearlescent coating on it. As you wash it, this coating will come off leaving only the base color with a strange residue of the coating. Plastic is a rigid, non-porous, and sturdy material which has no smell or taste. The smoothness does not add or detract from the enjoyment. The pointy factor of the tip does give it some texture, but this is debatable if it is a good thing.

It is better for beginners, although advanced users may get some enjoyment out of it as a clitoral stimulator.

Design / Shape / Size

The vibrator is 7 1/4" long and 5/8" in diameter. The "g-spot" curve is about 1" long, the shaft is about 5 1/4" long, and another 1" for the cap and controls. The tip of the curve narrows down to a rounded point that is about half the diameter of the rest. This is the part that is supposed to feel good on your g-spot, when in reality it is just sharp and pointy. It takes 2 AAA batteries, not included, which you insert + side first. It is small enough that you can hide it easily for travel as well as storage.

The cock ring is 5/8" in diameter when not stretched, and can technically stretch to a 3" diameter but it will not be comfortable for more than a minute at most. The design of these vary as some have gotten one with 3 little nubs, the picture shows 4, and mine had little spiky nubs all around which made it look like a saw blade.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls are a simple twist dial which increases the strength as you turn it more. The strength ranges from a nice low, deep vibration to a deep but semi-strong one. I would say it goes from 2 1/2 up to 4 1/2 vrooms. At its highest setting, it is loud enough that you can hear it through covers but not through the closed door. It is NOT waterproof, so do not even test it or you will have wasted $15. As a clitoral stimulator, it is a great toy.

The cock ring does not provide any stimulation at all. It is supposed to stimulate your clitoris, but it can not even reach it in most anatomical cases.

Both are small enough to be able to hide them easily if you want, which would be recommended unless you want people to know you own vibrators. The design is obvious as to what it is.

    • Multiple settings
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

The best way to clean this is with toy cleaner wipes. I do not know if they will remove the coating or not because by the time I got some it was already mostly gone. You can use soap and warm water or an antibacterial toy cleaner if you want instead. It also says that you can use alcohol to wipe it down. I do not know if it was the toy cleaner spray or the soap and water which removed the coating, but one if not both did. Storage is easy, just toss it in a drawer where it will not come into contact with toys of other materials. The cock ring is easy to lose, so if you want to keep it you can store it right on the toy. It is safe to use any type of lube with plastic, though with not knowing the material of the cock ring I would suggest using a water-based just to be safe.
