The 5 Function Compact Vibe Mini is a surprisingly strong little vibrator. It's about 5" long and 2" in diameter. It's small enough to fit comfortably in your hand, to slip between you and your partner during sex and travel with discreetly. You can even use it in the tub or shower because it's waterproof!

The vibe is made of hard plastic with a velvet cote on the outside. If you own any other toys with this type of finish on the outside you know that it helps make plastic toys more comfortable to use. It's similar to matte silicone in texture, but not in flexibility.

On the very bottom of the vibe is a black, push-button control. There are 5 settings it cycles through every time you press the button in. The first three are the traditional low, medium and high. The other two are quick and intense pulses that alternate between the different strengths. The first of those is a low-high pattern and the other is low-medium-high. While the button is nice because you aren't accidentally twisting the cap off the bottom of the vibe in the middle of masturbating, it has it's own set of frustrations. After a few uses it seems to completely skip over some of the settings. There is no real pattern to it either, it just randomly skips them. So if you're on the medium setting you might skip straight to the three quick pulses instead of getting to the stronger buzz you were looking for.

The base of the toy does twist off for battery installation. There is a small sleeve that slides out for the two AAA batteries required, but not included. There is a small black, rubber o-ring around where the base twists off to help prevent water from entering the battery compartment. The middle portion of the toy is a lavender color, two inches long and covered with ridges. This was probably done to give the user a texture that was easier to hold onto while the is in use, but it winds up being a catch all for bodily fluids and takes a bit of effort to clean. You'll need to break out an old toothbrush to clean between all those little crevices.

The last two inches of the toy taper into a point. This toy would be excellent for women who need that pinpoint stimulation for clitoral orgasms. The vibrations are absolutely the strongest in the tip of the toy. It can be inserted vaginally if you like. The texture doesn't do much because it's straight down the shaft of the toy, but the vibrations felt nice. With no flared based and the length of this toy you should not try to use it anally. The pinpoint stimulation may feel good externally on the anus, and it would be okay to massage the perineum or outside of the asshole with it, but you don't want to insert it.

The vibrations are very intense, and very quiet. There is a very low buzzing that can be heard even on the highest setting of the toy. To clean you can use an antibacterial soap and water or a toy cleaner, but you'll need to scrub the ridges with an old toothbrush. It's a strong toy with a nice shape, if you don't mind the extra hassle of cleaning and the random skipping of some of the functions.
