So Real You Might Need a Condom

This is a great first UR3 vibrator. It’s a very simple vibrator with a UR3 skin. If you don't like the material, you can always take the sleeve off and use the vibrator alone. If you're curious about realistic skin textures go ahead and take it for a spin!

This toy is incredibly realistic, but I was turned off by its high maintenance care requirements. This toy uses an imitation skin sheath made of UR3 aka cyberskin. This material is highly porous and difficult to fully sanitize. For best results, the toy should be fully washed with mild soap and water before and after use. Then it should be air dried and dusted with corn starch to prevent fuzzies, dust, and other icky things from attaching themselves to your new toy. This toy should be stored in an airtight container such as a plastic baggie or plastic container.

This toy comes with two parts, a simple plastic vibrator with a standard dial style control at the bottom and the sleeve made of the realistic UR3 material. With a condom, this toy really feels like flesh, without it the porous material feels odd to the touch. I really liked the fact that the sleeve has a little wiggle room between it and the vibrator as it stretches and moves. This gives it a great, realistic feel similar to foreskin during thrusts. The Sunrise has ridges near the tip that give it a fleshier, softer feel. I’m interested in seeing if the sheath will fit on other toys, but I don’t currently have any of a similar size to test my theory.

My biggest issue with the UR3 was that it left a weird residue on my hands, even after washing it. I have only used it with a condom. I’m also just a freak about lint on my toys, and you absolutely cannot lay the Sunrise sheath down for a second without every bit of dead skin and whatever else is in dust magnetizing to the toy.

As with most dial style controls it is very easy to loosen the battery compartment when taking control of your experience. Other than that the dial is very easy to use and the vibrator gradually moves through its pacing with little effort. I wouldn’t call this vibrator discreet, but it isn’t incredibly loud like some toys. You won’t hear it in the next room but looking at this toy you will know it is a vibrator.

All in all, the UR3 makes an interesting addition to an otherwise very standard vibrator. The price point on this toy set makes it an easy first foray into Ultra Realistic 3.0 for any collection. Size wise, this toy is a good addition for beginners and medium level users, but more adventurous shoppers may wish for something larger. It’s straightforward with no attachments, ticklers or intimidating parts, which I appreciated since I really wanted to get a feel for the sheath itself.
Follow-up commentary
I was perusing some of my toys recently and realized I REALLY don't use the Sunrise. If everything else I own broke (how tragic would that be?), I would use this, but the high maintenance nature of UR3 still bothers me. I'm the kind of person who lays a toy next to me in bed to warm it up and may drop the toy on the bed after I'm finished. Any such contact with my bed spread can and will result in several minutes of lint picking.

I wanted to like it because I love the texture and realness of UR3, but the maintenance isn't worth it.
